Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo

Nie wiem, dlaczego ten hotel jest tak bardzo zachwycony. Nie zrozumcie mnie źle, jest to komfortowy pobyt do spania, ale ogólnie nie wrócę ani nie polecę. Lokalizacja nie jest w pobliżu linii Shinjuku. Spacer trwa co najmniej 10 minut. Stacja Tochomae znajduje się 5 minut od hotelu. Hotel jest stary, a udogodnienia równie przestarzałe… najgorszy hotel naszej podróży i nie był tani. Rozmiar pokoju był jednak fantastyczny. Jedyną dobrą rzeczą był autobus, który zabrał nas do Disneylandu i Disneysea.

Not easily accessible to popular hotspots from the hotel. Outdated decor within the room. Hotel looks ancient. Slightly dirty.

Location is a 10min walk from Shinjuku Station. In addition, thereis a subway station next to the hotel. Room is clean and amenities are good.

We had an enjoyable stay at the hotel. The breakfast both restaurants are perfect.

Best hotel ever! Excellent staff with top notch service and amazing rooms. Airport limousine drops you right at the hotel and it is convenient base for Tokyo. Will definitely return!

The hotel have the best location, not too far from Shinjuku station, walkable distance. Will come to stay at this hotel again.

Grand premier room is a great choice. Amazing price from trip.com. Service from the hotel staff is outstanding.

Excellent location in Shinjuku, right opposite the Tokyo Metropolitan Building, where you can go up to the observatories for free and get great views. The hotel itself is quite old now but it’s been refurbished. Lots of rooms so it’s quite busy, but there are staff everywhere to help you. Good value if you can book early enough and get a decent rate.

Please note: this review is for South Plaza Luxe King. I decided to upgrade to Luxe King (from Luxe Queen) at the hotel for my 2nd and 3rd night. (trip.com still has my original bookings in the system, so that’s why the room type is different than my review). I previously wrote a review about the Luxe Queen, and I thought that room was great, but, I wanted to see the difference, and as I said in the last review, I always prefer a separate shower. Extra benefits from upgrading… — Separate shower, which I usually try to get. — Wider bed. — More space inside the room, and more storage space. One thing that doesn’t change much is the view. Or at least I don’t think it’s a noticeable change. I think some Luxe Queens can also have the same view (as the Luxe King) depending on their location across the width of the building. The corner room just had a different angle, but views from both rooms were great. I admit that I did see Mount Fuji at one point when it got really clear in the afternoon (on one of the days), but in general, the views are the same from both rooms. Also, maybe it depends what view you want… government building vs urban sprawl. You get both views from both rooms, it’s just that the angle changes. Did I have to upgrade no? But I wanted to try it and see the difference for next time. I believe both the Luxe Queen and Luxe King are excellent, and paying more you really do get some extra benefits. However, the Luxe isn’t cheap to start with, so I guess it depends on your budget. I think the Luxe King room is excellent.
