Rex Hotel (Toronto)

Lokalizacja jest dobra i są minimalne udogodnienia, więc myślę, że wystarczy dla podróżującego samotnie. Miło było móc rano dostać chleb i kawę za darmo w barze na pierwszym piętrze.

Czysty i przyjazny. Chociaż pokój jest nieco mniejszy i ma wspólną łazienkę, w pokoju znajduje się kran, więc wszystko oprócz kąpieli i wygody można robić w pokoju. Świetny stosunek jakości do ceny. Przypadkowo zgubiłem kartę do pokoju i nie poproszono nas o zapłacenie odszkodowania. Dziękuję bardzo, pełne oceny. Lokalizacja jest bardzo dobra, wszystkie obiekty w pobliżu DT znajdują się w odległości spaceru.

Dobra lokalizacja. Blisko Front St W, metra, dostępu do ulicy. Świetna muzyka!

Our stay was great for the new year other than the bed was too small for me being & my girlfriend, I’m about 5’ 9 & my feet were dangling from the bed, and then the fitted sheet was too small for the bed so I woke up with the bed sheet wrapped around me, otherwise our stay was fun! Great staff, Great New Years Eve, maybe change the bed in room 118 though & the sheets

What an amazing hotel.. It's smack in the middle of downtown Toronto and close to everything. The rooms are comfy, and there's a jazz bar downstairs which you can hear sometimes when you are going to sleep. The breakfast at the bar is totally excellent

In the evenings, I love the jazz music that comes from downstairs. It is very soothing and helped me find sleep. The staff were super helpful with my stay. They helped with a few problems I had. I will consider The Rex first choice when I have to make trips to Toronto.

Bathtub and toilet were shared. The only amenity was gel for washing hands. Breakfast was listed as simple, but when I asked at the restaurant on the first floor (where jazz performances are held at night), I was told that there was something to order from the menu, which I did. Breakfast is served at 9:30 AM. It is true that I booked the room because it was cheap compared to the surrounding price quotes, but I still paid $145 per night. If I had known from the beginning, I would not have booked it. Is it the cost of the land since it is in a good location? I think the reception and cleaning staff work normally and the common restrooms and bathrooms are well cleaned. The rooms have double-paned windows, but it was November-December and cold was the response. I didn't notice that the heater in the room was set to 18 degrees Celsius at first, and shivered under a thin quilt. The next day I changed the setting to 26 degrees, which seemed to improve things somewhat. The rooms could do without cleaning, but it was a hassle to deal with when I needed new towels only. Overall, I would not use the hotel for overnight stays in the future. You can consider it impossible to work in the room when you are here on a business trip.

The hotel is in greatly located in downtown Toronto. We grabbed a room quickly to support the jazz club and the room came at a great price. What we didn’t realize until we got to the hotel was that we had managed to book a room without a toilet and shower. This was not the hotels fault but something that we should have seen and notified about clearer. Next time we would make sure that we booked a room with a bathroom.
