Hotel Chaumiere -

The hotel is part of the Logis de France chain which [in this case] means a "bit quirky". The hotel itself is fine although the access to the rooms [all given Astrological names] is up a steep and curving staircase which I found difficult to navigate. It does supply excellent and popular dining; breakfast was good [coffee, croissants, bread, compote and juice] provided individually at the table. The room was fine with a good bed and - in my case - faced the street which meant that it was not possible to have a window open. There was a slight - and strange - smell in my room. Very good shower in rather cramped bathroom. The staff was lovely. I tried to speak French which perhaps helped.

Location is great, in reach of both Tain l'hermitage just by crossing the bridge and Tournon. Walls are very thin and we could hear the neighbours talking till about 2am. Bathroom is on the small side.

Adresse à recommander, avec un accueil chaleureux. Chambre rustique mais bien équipé, avec une bonne litterie, de même que la salle de bain, qui est bien agencée. Le restaurant propose une carte avec des produits locaux très agréable, ainsi que de bons vins (de la région). Le tout, pour un excellent rapport qualité-prix, dans un environnement charmant.

Établissement très vieillot! Très bruyant(laves linge qui se termine à 1h! Voisins de chambre qui parlent qui se réveillent tôt, chasse d eau terriblement bruyante !) 3eme enfant sur un lit pliant et salle de douche très petite et vétuste ! Dommage car emplacement idéal

Très bien pour une halte si vous faites la Via Rhôna, par contre en période estivale attention obligé de dormir les fenêtres ouvertes et ça reste du coup assez bruyant. Mise à part ça l’accueil et le service et parfait

La crise de l'énergie ne semble pas avoir encore affecté la qualité de l'hébergement. La restauration, tout en adaptant ses menus au contexte, garde un rapport qualité / prix très favorable. L'emplacement de l'hôtel est optimal pour une halte sur la route ou pour du tourisme en vallée du Rhône.

Très satisfait de l'accueil. Cet hôtel restaurant mérite le détour pour ces diverses prestations et son restaurant. Au regard de l'amabilité et la gentillesse des personnes qui nous ont choyés et le délicieux repas digne de grands chefs, je recommande vivement cet établissement.
