lovely views and a contemporary aesthetic. lots of parking spaces. I enjoy that it's not crowded. The food was good. The Asian staff was polite and made an effort to provide a customer-focused attitude. The majority of the workers are backpackers, so they are not particularly formal—they don't smile or greet others, they just stand and talk—and the place doesn't look like a five-star hotel. There was still hair on the floor and the room was a little dusty . Nothing special, simply an overnight stay.

This is a beautiful new hotel in Townsville. It definitely has a holiday vibe, excellent views from the pool and the roof top bar. Good selection of restaurants and you have access to the Ville next door. Would definitely stay here again however the only negative is the lack of service at the rooftop bar. It took ages to get served and no cutlery, side plates, napkins provided, we had to ask for them. All we ordered was a glass of wine which is easy enough to pour but we stood at the bar waiting for ages to be served and finally gave up and used the QR code to order and the drinks still took forever to arrive. The place wasn’t that busy and it looked to be well staffed so I am unsure what the issue was. But overall I came back home feeling relaxed and rejuvenated so I would recommend this hotel.

This hotel is an absolute must if you are in Townsville. The rooftop pool is to die for and the views will take your breath away. The restaurant Terasu is absolutely beautiful to dine at. The rooms are beautiful with gorgeous comfortable beds and pillows. Views to die for.

This 5 star hotel is in a gorgeous location with modern rooms & beautiful views out onto the ocean. Unfortunately, it is lacking in good service!!!! Poolside service & housekeeping were very disappointing. Rooms are also missing simple luxuries like Nespresso machines & movie/netflix (smart tv channels) that you would expect in a 5 star hotel!!

Our “Ocean Corner Suite” at the Ardo was without doubt one of the best accommodation packages that we have ever had the privilege of staying in. The room and views were exceptional. The staff were amazing and were happy and knowledgeable in all our conversations. The “Roof Top Bar” is highly recommended at sunset with the food being amazing. The dinner that we had at”Terasu” was an amazing experience. Overall the best stay that we have had anywhere in Australia. Highly recommended, we will be back.

I travel for work and found this hotel to be clean, comfortable, and modern, with some nice extra touches—like the high-quality complimentary tea and coffee in the room. The lighting was very nice, the shower and bathroom great, and the bed was comfortable. The gym and pool were also lovely. I will definitely stay here again for business.
