We recently stayed here with our extended family for 3 nights while we attended a wedding. We had 7 rooms between us. The stay was great value as it included some meal vouchers etc. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious. In particular we loved the breakfast - watching the mist rise over the landscape in front was lovely. The reception staff were very accommodating. We enjoyed the variety of facilities including the squash court and tennis courts. Only feedback would be maybe a few more menu options on the bar menu, and it would be great if they had some bikes for hire so could explore the rail trail. Thank you for having us!

Sadly finally able to use vouchers given by family very overpriced room I had asked for two single beds and turned out to be one king size bed given that I was here with my adult son not appropriate meal in turbo restaurant was overpriced and extremely small . I felt like because I had vouchers I was ripped off price wise having endured chemotherapy 34 times over ten years was looking forward to having this break I have to say staff in general were very nice plenty of great amenities for sure cleanliness spot on but I have stayed in many places around the world and was disappointed price was not value for money such a shame lovely spot but left feeling dissatisfied oh the breakfast was fine thank goodness as we were very hungry after not having virtually much food the night before . After waiting so long to use vouchers I felt less than satisfied . It’s a lovely venue in such a pretty spot when I booked I was lead to believe they were pretty booked out not the case as I took notice of amount of people and it was certainly not full by any stretch I felt because I had vouchers I was ripped off plus I could not believe you would not have anybody on reception to check out Very disappointed

This was our second stay at The Trawool Estate. It was fabulous - tried the main dining room for dinner this time and was not disappointed. Really missed the pizza garden not being open for lunch as we were there mid week. Picking herbs from our table to put on our pizza was a highlight of our previous stay. Great place to bush walks from.

An awesome place to stay. We went for a weekend for my son's weeding. We arrived about 3pm and our suite was ready. We shared our suite with one of our daughters. She had a seperate room which gave the three of us our privacy. There was a kitchen, including a microwave, mini bar and the bathroom had a bath as well as a shower. The estate facilities were were excellent. The pool is salt water and a good size. There was an outdoor eating arra as well. The staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The front desk staff were cheerful and offered help when approached. The stand out staff member was Dillion who cooks an awesome woodfired pizza and was friendly and cheerful to boot. Thank you to everyone at The Trawool Estate for making the weekend so awesome and rememberable.

We arranged for our family to get together for a preChristmas retreat at Trawool and were delighted with every aspect of the experience. The accommodation was first class, the setting relaxing and pictursque and the food and hospitality in general were outstanding.

We just returned from a 4 night stay at Trawool Estate, we cannot speak highly enough of our experience. Firstly, it’s an easy drive from Melbourne, once you arrive you are welcomed by the most friendliest reception staff, the rooms are huge, clean and the bed the most comfortable we’ve slept in. We ate at all restaurants, Turbine, Pizzeria herb garden, breakfast each morning and Wild water on NYE. All meals were sensational, couldn’t fault a thing & after dinner Turbine had a dj playing and complimentary tapas. We took our bikes up and rode to Yea one day and Tallarook the next, highly recommend the scenery was amazing. Overall we will be going back as the service, location and restaurants are sensational. All the staff were wonderful but special mention to Jason and Charlotte on NYE. I normally am not great with remembering names but i made extra effort to remember the staff’s names as they were fantastic.

Sunday lunch in Whitewater Restaurant was fantastic! A fixed menu with limited options meant the meal quality was excellent - and with complimentary glasses of 'house wine' which happened to be a top notch Yarra Valley Pinot Noir. Some house wine!! An elegant but not at all fussy lunch - what else could you want on a Sunday?

A group of us from work had Sunday lunch at Trawool a week ago. We sat in the outside garden area for Pizza's. The Pizza's were delicious and the service was excellent. If you are looking for a relaxing lunch, I would suggest Trawool. However, I would take some Aeroguard as the flies are relentless.

Stopped here for lunch after staying the weekend in the Goulburn Valley and wished I stayed here instead. The Hotel is boutique but absolutely beautiful, and the staff were extremely friendly. We ate at the Wild Water Restaurant, which was stunning in itself. The risotto was to die for, and cocktails well worth the price. Also loved the view of the hills and horses. Highly recommended!
