We had a lovely weekend stay at Lane Head Farm Country Guest House. We were welcomed really warmly and were instantly made to feel at home. We were offered hot drinks in the dining room as soon as we checked in, accompanied by pastries. This hospitality continued throughout our stay and we are definitely planning on returning for a longer visit in the near future. It feels like a home from home after just one visit!

One of the friendliest hosts we have ever met. Suruchi makes you feel at home. The property is well-maintained, clean and calm. Rooms are spacious, contemporary and cosy. Breakfast was delicious. The property has a large open area/garden at the back and it would be nice for a family or a group to spend an evening with a view. We received a lot of tips and info about the area, free parking spots around Keswick, attractions and places to dine from Suruchi which came in handy. The property is easy to locate and access compared to many other locations in the Lake District and comes with free parking. It is highly recommended.

We recently stayed here for a couples week away. Suruchi was a fantastic host and could not do more to accommodate us and our dog. The location was perfect for what we wanted. Ullswater and Keswick. Her omelettes are superb. My only criticism was that the shower in our room had no pressure so we did not use it but she did offer us another room if we wanted and is addressing this issue. The water however was always hot so we could have a bath instead in our room . She has recently had a lovely kitchen fitted downstairs so we were able to heat up food one night when we got back late. Lovely little place . Definitely worth a visit . Thanks 😊

Host very kind and friendly. Helpful throughout our stay. Location quite and remote and peaceful. Breakfast was enough and filling and also was happy that the host met put standards and requirements. Defferently a place to stay again and value for money booking direct. Thanks you 🤗

This is by far one of best hotel B&B we have stayed in. Suruchi the host could not have done anything more for us. The room, lounge and garden were fantastic. Breakfast was plentiful and lots of choice. Located near Keswick you are right in the heart of fells and lakes. I can't recommend this B&B enough.

Suruchi was a lovely welcoming host, she made both my partner and I feel very welcome and comfortable. No ask was too much she brought a heater up to our room so we could dry our clothes out, and the kitchen facilities were great so we could cook our own dinner. She let us book in a few days early when our camping trip was derailed due to the weather and let us leave our stuff in the room whilst we went off camping for one night. The breakfast was great, plenty of choice for cold food and the hot food was good. Would highly recommend and stay again.

Suruchi was a lovely host and looked after my girlfriend and I extremely well. We had booked in for the end part of the week and planned to camp the first part of the week but weather and storms came in and Suruchi allowed us to check in 3 days early and was very kind and very helpful.

We stayed here for 5 nights. Rooms are very clean and beds are comfortable. Shower is amazing. Water pressure and temperature all time. Breakfast is plenty and hot food served fresh. Option of renting full house if you want to celebrate with family. Separate kitchen and sitting room too. Gardens and pleasant. Location is beautiful and away from city noises but not far enough. Local pub for yummy vegetarian food is down the road too. We will be going back again with family. Only thing negative i would say is creeky floor boards 😀

Suruchi kindly took us in last minute when our camping trip was ruined by the wind and rain. She welcomed us with a warm cup of tea and offered to dry our wet gear in the lounge. We stayed in a beautiful room with an en-suite and a very comfy bed. We had a yummy home cooked veggie breakfast both mornings that set us up nicely for our long day of walking and exploring. I would recommend Lanes Head Farm to anyone visiting the lake district area. It was in a great location that was quiet and tucked away and had a parking space for the car. Would 100% stay here again.
