This was one of our favorite places when visiting Ninh Binh. The lodge met every expectation we had. It was quiet and peaceful despite it being at capacity. The service was excellent, despite the limited English spoken. It is walkable to the Trang An bamboo boat area, although I would recommend borrowing a bike, which is free to guests might I add. Food was good and the servings were pretty generous. If you're looking for a quiet getaway, this is the place.

A small paradise on Earth! Me and my wife visited for our honeymoon on our last destination in Vietnam. Easily the best Hotel we have been in Vietnam!! The location and the view from the hotel was STUNNING! The staff were extremely friendly, attentive and next to us to whatever we needed! We had a taxi at 3 in the morning and our receptionist (Tom) not only he stayed awake to help us with our bags, but he prepared for us our favourite coffee, snacks and fruits to take with us for our long trip. The rooms are cozy, comfy and really clean. Simply one of the best experiences we had. Thank you so much to all the staff!!!! When anyone visit Ninh Binh Trang An Ecolodge is a MUST!!!!

Our family loved staying here for two nights. It’s a peaceful spot nestled between a river and a mountain and feels really remote, but is a 1km bike ride from where you catch the boats at Trang An. The pool was great - really deep and refreshing. We ended up eating all our meals here, as the location was so lovely we didn’t want to leave. Our teenagers shared a triple room (which had an amazing semi-outdoor bathroom built into the mountain) and we had a room with a private balcony. So lovely! Recommend staying two nights or more if you can.

If you like to be with nature, this is the 1 to stay at. The ecolodge cannot be seen from the street as it is snucked onto 1 side of a mountain. Wood & bamboo materials are used, even in the room. Nice, comfy room with air conditioning. The ecolodge also has a swimming pool & a garden area with several hammocks & trees, where my husband & I loved to spend our time at. It felt like we were camping in the woods. Tab (Nhi) at the front desk whom we met on the day we checked in is such a sweet, nice, friendly, professional young man. He provided excellent customer service.

Truly an eco experience where you can hear crickets and frogs while enjoying dinner. Tom was very helpful and friendly, providing us with practical information. We got a cottage furthest from the dining area, we had a very good rest as if we were camping in the nature.

We enjoyed our stay here and would probably stay again. The location is peaceful and pretty, the staff are great - warm, friendly service - and the food is good. Not too big, so it feels intimate and personal. Our ground-floor family room was adjacent to the pool, so at times a little noisy but actual in-room amenities were awesome - spacious, comfortable beds, great bathroom, good WiFi, etc. What really made this place for us was the relaxed (though not casual) and friendly service - the staff were really attentive and helpful.

Beautiful hotel in the midst of nature of Ninh Binh. Surrounded by nature, you are in a nice place, a pool and with delicious food. The owners are very friendly and try to help you with everything they can. The food is also very good, but they bring all the food you order at once, which was a bit confusing (starters, main course and desert), but apart from that, the food is very good. The rooms are also nice, the bathroom is semi open, you can almost shower in the jungle. But because of that, there can be some small insects in your bathroom at night, like spiders for example. We also had some in our bedroom, but that was to be expected, when you have a hotel at such a location.

Truly a gem nestled in greenery, the lodge quietly embraces the nature into the design and offers an amazing view. The owners are veeerryy nice and professional, and you can expect your stay here to be a great experience. Do try to have a tea in the tea corner - it gives a hermit feeling.

Emplacement parfait, au calme. C'est un petit havre de paix bordé par une rivière avec plein d'endroits pour se poser. Le personnel est charmant. Les chambres sont spacieuses et propres. Il est peut être un peu plus chers que d'autres hôtels tout en restant très raisonnable et en vaut largement le prix. Je le conseille vivement aux couples et aux familles qui pourront se reposer tranquillement après avoir visiter les merveilles des environs. J'y retournerai sans hésitation.
