The resort from outside looks very nice, but that all what I can say nice thing about this place. The beach side very poor, too far to walk. Transportation inside hotels almost not existed. Food less then average. The specialist restaurants almost not eatable. All together less then average, I would definitely never come back to this resort…

Staff are extremely friendly and upbeat. Buffet is good and dishes change often. Room is good, bed sort of hard. Drinks are strong! Had a very relaxing and fun time overall.

Pros Lots of activities. Pools and beach were nice. Japanese restaurant was amazing.
Cons rooms weren’t cleaned very well. Very noisy outside room by people working not guests.

This was our second visit to this resort. Last time we stayed in sian kaan. Love the food variety. Alot of sea food options. Buffets are huge. The resort itself is huge. The service in coba was great but definitely felt the difference conpared to adult only service. Coba is great for families. Overall, would come back.

Good property for families, safe, good beach. We stayed at a VIP but still had to upgrade when we got here for access to the other properties. Even with our upgraded bracelet we were sometimes told we weren’t allowed and had to talk to a manager to have it rectified

Pools were a little crowded at times, so was the beach but overall a good experience. You have to pay more if you are staying at coba and want access to the other 3 areas, so that was disappointing …the reserved dinners were good, we rented a car which was nice to get out to tulum and chicken itza, might want to consider that if you go? Would go again.

Disappointing stay. Previously stayed at Tulum but Coba was extremely disappointing in comparison. Staff are unwelcoming and act like they don"t want you there. Tulum is just so much better in so many ways. 2 star versus 4 star.

Food at buffet on news years eve was terrible. But did improve next day. Restaurants were great but small portions and very hard to get a reservation even though there many empty seats. Maybe there wasn't enough staff. AC in the room quit working. Called front desk but the problem never got fixed during our stay. We have been to better beaches in cancun. This beach was narrow, lots of rocks etc in the water and not much sand. Beach shoes are highly recommended in the water. Nice place if you have kids though.
