Re Vittorio

B&B Re Vitorio is in a beautiful, old building in central Turin, close to both Porta Nuova and Porta Susa stations. The rooms are modernised and extremely quiet, with a brilliant memory foam mattress on the bed, extra bedding, plenty of toiletries in the bathroom, and all spotlessly clean. Alberto is a fantastic host - so kind and welcoming and helpful - and the breakfast is absolutely outstanding: fresh coffee, pastries with cream, handmade tarts, so many kinds of tea, milk and juice. Truly, he I have never had a better B&B breakfast!!! And we were given snacks and drinks for our onward journey. What spectacular hospitality. Thank you to Alberto and colleagues for an amazing stay. I highly recommend Re Vittorio to any visitor to Turin.

Despite the "spose" aesthetics and the proximity to the re vittorio boulevard the edifice has remarkable advantages and character: 1. You stay in a historic apar**ent block in the city. No reception, lounges and communal spaces if that is what you are after. 2.Rooms, that is 3 with a common kitchen, the latter well equipped and run by the owner-manager with the impeccable breakfast service, included in the price. 3. Each room is large spacious and with a salonette component. The bahtroom is functional and the shower cubicle exceptional in strentgh and variety of shower effect. 4. The owner manager is and exceptional numismatist of the italian coins, a smiling personality and of obliging character and flair. 5. We reached this abode by recommendation of local friends du to the vicinity of their residence. We spent three nights.

It was my first time in Torino. We arrived by train at the Porta Nova station. We were here for the weekend. With a small luggage on wheels it took us only a 10 minutes walk to the B&B. Alberto, our host, was very friendly and gave us a lot of information. He speaks Italian, French, Spanish and a bit of German. He is a great communicator and ready to help. Most points of interest are in walking distance, longer walks sometimes, but truly worthwhile. The city is great for architecture lovers. It offers everywhere well maintained edifices with charm and taste for details. One needs to keep the eyes up and open. The breakfast was excellent for our taste. The room was just right: comfortable, chic and simple. The building from 19th century is perfectly renovated and gives the traveler a local, appealing and familiar feeling. The Modern Art Gallery is just cross the street. Farther on, there is a beautiful residential neighbourhood with fabulous villas.

Top place. Middle of the city. Outstanding in every respect.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux week-end dans ce logement. Nous avons pu dormir à 4 dans une chambre sans problème. Structure proche du centre, très propre avec toutes les commodités. Le matin au petit-déjeuner nous avons eu des croissants frais, une tarte maison et énormément de choix pour les boissons et autres collations. Notre hôte nous a chouchouté, ça lui tenait à coeur de nous faire plaisir. Nous recommandons vivment cet endroit. Merci Alberto pour votre gentillesse !!

Impossibile dormire, al piano sottostante il bed and breakfast vi è un laboratorio di pasticceria che è attivo dalle 4 del mattino. I macchinari usati ed il personale addetto producono rumori che non consentono di dormire. Rapporto qualità/prezzo squilibrato soprattutto perché l'alloggio non è fruibile, il gestore ha taciuto tale circostanza pur essendone a conoscenza. Sconsigliato soprattutto per chi viaggia per lavoro.

B&b molto curato nei dettagli. Camera spaziosa, accogliente e pulita. La colazione ottima, a disposizione anche torte fatte in casa. L'oste molto gentile, premuroso e cordiale. Un ottimo b&b nel quale poter soggiornare. Ottima la vicinanza anche ad un parcheggio sotterraneo.
