Omena Hotel Turku Kauppiaskatu

Je n’avais pas reçu le code pour la chambre car il manquait des informations sur ma réservation mais j’ai appelé le service clients qui a été très réactif et j’ai vite reçu le code ! Très bien !

I stayed at this hotel for four nights. For the one firts night my rating would have been horrible, because yes, some people use the entrance to the hotel to relieve themselves and it was cleaned up next morning at 4 am, followed by washing windows of the building over the street at 6 am. You can imagine what a night sleep it was… However, for the next three nights, the stay was perfect. No outside noise whatsoever, excellent bed, minimal but well designed room, darkening curtains, decent shower gel, gluten and lactose free breakfast available at Sokos hotel over the street. Location is also very good with bus stops around the corner and restaurants like Nomad and Tinto within the walking distance. If I’d stay on the budget at Turkku next time, I’ll be back at Omena.

Felt this had the basics and prefer the amenities offered here than your traditional hotel. Convenience stores are all walkable along with cafes for breakfast or other meals.

The room is very clean and spacious. The checkin process was stressful - had to wait outside for 40min as the *********** code I was sent didn’t work and neither did the phone number. Luckily, another locked out person found a working phone number online and the man I spoke with was really helpful. Loud drilling directly above my room (head) every morning at 7:30-8am onwards - waking me up with mild terror, preventing further sleep and starting what should have been relaxing days with a touch of anxiety. Great location though. Imagine when they’ve finished building it staying will be much better, but the drilling was awful.

Great place but would be better if they had a smoking area

Very nice rooms, clean spacious, well. We had booked two rooms, and received confirmation og room numbers. One of the rooms was changed afterwards, without informing us. So we spend a lot of time trying to open the door of the first room. We then had to pay, to get in touch with an employe who took a long time to figure out what had happen - And one have to pay for callling the service desk!!!! I would never stay there again.

The rooms were very fresh and newly renovated. The location was perfect, as local as it can get. The check in and out was easy. The beds were very comfortable. We stayed on one of the most busy nights in Turku on a student event, and the hotel was fully booked- we thought it would be noisy at night but we did not hear any noises to our room. Extremely pleasant stay.

Not used to self service. It’s nice to see some people when checking in. The room was spacious and the view from the window was lovely, especially the trees next to the room. Very quiet.
