Hotel Lido Beach

We stayed 2 nights at the Lido Beach in a Superior Room. The Superior rooms and suites are located adjacent to the restaurant whilst the standard rooms are in the main part of the hotel. We chose the Superior room rather than a suite due to the bed in the suite being located on the mezzanine floor. None of the rooms have a direct sea view as the hotel is set back from the beach and there are trees and fences obstructing the view. The rooms look exactly like the photos and appear to have been recently redecorated. The bathroom was spacious with a great shower. The air-conditioning worked well. Bottled water and tea/coffee making was provided in the room. We had an issue with the blind over the door not working properly which we reported to reception in the morning. This had been fixed on our return in the afternoon which was impressive. We ate in the restaurant both nights and were given a 10% discount. The food was well presented and reasonably priced and there was a good selection of wine. The service both nights was excellent. There were a few minor points which we felt would improve the overall experience. Firstly, it took ages to get coffee at breakfast and the juice had all but run out both days. Perhaps a self-service coffee option would be better. Secondly, there is no seating in the room. As the Superior rooms have a small garden area outside it would be ideal to convert these areas into small patios with a table and chairs for having coffee/drinks. Lastly, the hotel lacks a bar. There is a very limited drinks list with no cocktails. As the garden and pool area are a nice place to sit it is a shame there is no option to have ‘aperitivo’ so we went to the nearby beach bar instead. This is a nice hotel with professional staff which fully deserves its 4* rating.

This stop on our way down Sardinia was a VERY pleasant surprise! The room was spacious and immaculate… and the scent was exotic and aromatic (even the hallway smelled fantastic :-) The personnel at the reception desk & restaurant were friendly and attentive. The pool was extremely well maintained, and the water an ideal temperature… with the Mediterranean less than 100 yards away. HIGHLY recommend!

It was a good value. The room was clean and basic but just fine. Right on the beach and a great walking road that runs along the beach. Also very quiet place. It would be nice if they had some food options other than just dinner, but there were places close enough.

Fantastic small hotel situated on torre grande with easy access to oristano, the Sinus peninsula. One level hotel overlooking the sea. We received an upgrade to a large room overlooking the rear of the property. Very clean lots of light and comfortable. The pool area is fabulous and pool is warm. We recommend the restaurant and used it both nights during our visit. Fantastic fresh fish with a chef that knows how to cook it. Wonderful food both nights. We would stay here again on our next trip to Sardinia.

Nice service, direct access to the beach, clean beach and sea, wonderful garden and pool, good food

Lovely hotel on a huge beach. Wasn’t the best looking beach but we sat on it to watch the sun set which was lovely. The hotel pool are was beautiful. We were upgraded to a large room at the back of the hotel which was really big and spacious. The breakfast was good. Giulia at reception was very sweet and attentive. The hotel was at the end of a dusty car park and we didn’t locate it easily first of all but it was a nice stop over for us. We visited the sinus peninsula which was a long and dusty way away but worth the effort.

Close to the beach, very nice garden with swimming pool, very clean clean and the stuff are all very friendly and helpful. The dinner was very good and the breakfast buffet enormous with a lot of choice of fresh food. Thank you for the perfect stay!
