The ColdWater Inn

This was my first stay at ColdWater Inn and it won't be my last. Room was large, bed was comfortable, and breakfast buffet was excellent. Desk staff was friendly and accommodating. Great value for the price.

This inn was amazing. It was super cute and everyone was super friendly. I would definitely go back again if I am ever in the area.

Beautifully appointed, decorated for the season, and amazing hospitality.

Property is beautifully maintained & convenient to all the area attractions. Will definitely stay again next time we visit this area.

Made reservation through **********...got email...your reservation is confirmed, no need to call.....myself and friends arrived, to hear"we dont do 3rd party reservations "...they called another hotel ...they arranged rooms there for us and others as i learned later that evening....this hotel was less money and Coldwater paid for mine and my friends rooms....if they dont take 3rd party reservations....WHY DID THEY PAY FOR OUR ROOMS!!!??? THEY OWE US MONEY!!!

Have stayed here before. Was always clean and top notch. This time, our room had many damages and smelled strongly of cleaning supplies. I think it was a pet room, but we did not have a pet. They were not busy, and we had a reservation. Desk help was ok, but had nose rings and tattoos. I had to sign a waiver, relieving the hotel of any liability if items were stolen in the room or in our car. This was new, and left me feeling unsafe. Just not the beautiful hotel it once was!

The hotel was conveniently located to our final destination. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Common areas were excellent, but room had a couple of small issues. Light blocking curtain was not properly set up and hard to use. Toilet had difficult time flushing waste and frequently required multiple flushes. Otherwise, I would recommend staying here. Located right across from the Alabama Music Hall of Fame and not far from Helen Keller birthplace.

Unfortunately we were placed in a handicap room and the hot water, especially with the sink, was a problem. While we enjoyed the beauty and accessibility these issues put a damper on our stay.
