The hotel is a bit dated, carpets in halls looking shabby. The room was large and had adequate lighting and controls, comfortable mattress, bedding clean. Large window with drapery and sheer, window stained and dirty, mostly outside. Bench type cushions were ingrained with stains, both sides. Small LED TV for room size, no guide or instructions found. There was a safe in the closet, worked fine. Large bathroom with ventilation, good towels, hot/cold water from sink faucet. There is a large swimming pool and spa on the 5th floor level. Pool loungers and table and chairs area. Large comfortable towels you sign for before entering the pool area, free for hotel guests. Changing area with private showers, hair dryers, lockers. Large fitness room. Massage area, with skillful attendants, prices reasonable. Sunee Grand is still a top choice with reasonable rates. They also have a large conference and meeting rooms, fully equipped. I attended a conference there a few years ago, as good as anyplace, anywhere.

I woke up quite early because of noisy job next to hotel building and house keeping start doing their job at 8 o’clock but if you plan to leave the hotel for yr destination before 8 a.m. I have to say nice stay

Centara Ubon is a new hotel located at Ubon Ratchathani. The location is next to Central Plaza which is convenient for food, shopping and even catching a movie. The hotel has new promotion for now. They provide breakfast for 2 and complimentary drinks. The mini bar is free for the 1st day. There is a small pool and fitness room These are the pros The service needs to improve as I didn't feel very welcome on the 1st day of check in. The staff were speaking in Thai which I am unable to understand. When I provided my reservation, they still didn't address me in English but when they realised I am paying, they started talking to me. Perhaps they are new and inexperience, I had to wait 20mins for my receipt during checkout. There were flies at the restaurant during breakfast, an unwelcoming sight. The hotel should do something about it. Housekeeping was also inconsistent, only providing water for 1st and last day. We were given voucher 555baht per day to spend at the restaurant, however we were not allowed to have our food in our room. The was quickly changed when I fill in the survey and Mr Santichon, the Front Desk Manager got to know about it. Mr Santichon's hospitality and service-oriented attention to our needs win me and family over. We decided that we will return again when we are in the vicinity. The hotel truely has a gem in Mr Santichon and I hoped his peers and staff can learn from him. I hoped the management compliment Mr Santichon on his dedication to his work.

What a pleasant surprise to find such clean and comfortable accomodation combined with delightful staff in a budget hotel. I was genuinely blown after so many disappointments in erstwhile luxury properties at more than double this daily rate. It was the location which had 1st attracted my wife last year, as it suited her needs when flying in on business. Based on this we booked 3 nights. The property quiet due to the one block set back from major roads yet it's easy to access from all major cbd locations by car or taxi. Staff are young, attractive, very polite and ever so helpful. And that includes the housekeeping staff too... 5 star service! The rooms are modern, clean and suitably appointed for the class of hotel but what really stands out is the sleep quality. The mattress so soft and comfortable I slept better than in my own home. Many thanks to Erawan/Hop Inn properties for an enjoyable stay and we shall be seeing you again.

Stayed here for 3 nights. For the price the room was very good. Spotlessly clean. Large bed with firm mattress. Large bathroom, with powerful hot shower. I had a room very close to the lift, but i never heard it once and I stayed during a busy weekend. In fact the hotel was very quiet. There is a restaurant and a number of brrakfast options are available. Free tea and coffee in lobby. The owner/manager was always there to greet me in the morning and engage in friendly conversation. Nothing better than starting the day in a happy frame of mind. He was also very helpful in arranging a car and driver to explore nearby national park The hotel is within easy walking distance of the City Pillar. It does not have a gym, but the main park is a 10 minute walk away and who beeds a running machine when you can jog alongwith locals around the perimeter and their are public exercise equipment. The only negative is the room did not contain a safe. But it felt completely secure and I had no qualms about leaving valuables in room. Tip - if you get a chance try and visit Samphon Bok. During the dry season it is awesome.

Paid approx $24 Aus which included breakfast. The hotel is modern and bright. Clean and tidy. I stayed in the superior room which is standard I think. It was big and open with a small sofa. Bed was very comfortable and 2 pillows per person which I appreciate. Breakfast was a buffet. It had fruit, local Thai sweet and hot Thai dishes plus bread and jam. The dining room is very modern and relaxing. The staff throughout the hotel are very polite and helpful. I'll definitely be back.

Natsiri is a nice little oasis in the middle of Ubon. As this isn't a tourist town, the prices are reasonable. Overall, the place is quite nice, especially compared to the rural spots we've been in the past few days. The regular rooms are appropriately sized, and the beds a bit softer than many beds in Thailand (though for this Farang, they are still a bit hard, but workable). The one big oddity here is that a place this nicely built has steps up and down all over. Exit the elevator on your floor and there is a step down (my wife missed it the first time, despite the yellow tape on the floor). Step into your room and there's a step up. Step into your bathroom and there's a step down. Have the included breakfast and in the middle of the dining room there's a big step up. Go through the lobby area and if you go to the bathrooms there's a step up. Etc... The breakfast had quite a few options, including cheap ice cream. It was fine. Of course, the choices are all Thai. Overall, we recommend, especially at this price.

chose this hotel because it chose this hotel because it looked to be a newer Hotel. Very clean good air no coffee maker in the room flat screen television with very poor reception in only one English Channel I could find. Everyday I like to go for a long walk in the morning when I returned the second day from a 5-mile walk there was no water in the hotel I had to wait two hours to take a shower which was not pleasant. Value for money I still rate this a 3 out of 5. They did offer a free small buffet breakfast pretty much all Thai food but fresh coffee and toast three or four different tie items and rice and a small salad bar. Location I would rate this a 3 as well not much within walking distance.

The hotel is situated near the city's bus station, and a short distance from the ring-road. It's not near to downtown Ubon Ratchathani . It has a large well maintained car park with shaded parking spots. The check in was quick and efficient and the receptionist was friendly and polite. The clean, spacious rooms were very good: comfortable king size bed, A/C , wifi and TV all in good working order, small balcony . It was very quiet at night and we had a good night's rest. There is no restaurant , but there is wide choice of places to eat in the vicinity. No breakfast only instant coffee and cookies (free) . It's not the Ritz but it's excellent value for a short stay in Ubon. We'll stay again when we have business in the city.
