As usual with low-rating review there is a story, so I'll start with it. We arrived late in evening and because i made a mistake with the booking we had a double room but booked for one person. both The receptionist and *********** were helpless as such major operation as adding a person to a room is too complicated for them. Long story short, it took almost an hour to get this sorted, before we could go to our room (which was double just the same). Very disappointing, will not come there again. Leaving the booking incident aside, it was very small rooms, not really clean, no shampoo - and for sure no atmosphere. The only point to give it two came with the breakfast that was really good and with large selection. If you just want to ski or hike, or cycle, maybe it is ok for you, but if you are searching for a little extra - forget about it. PS: this town is a good starting point to explore the timmelsjoch pass.

Sehr trendiges Alpen-Hotel. Super freundliches Personal. Zweckmässiges Zimmer in modernem Design. Aussenparkplätze kosten EUR 1.- pro Nacht und in der Tiefgarage über EUR 8.- Frühstücksbüffet ist auch reichhaltig. WLAN funktioniert gut. Im Sommer gibt es in der Hotel-Lobby eine Mountainbiker-Flickstation und im Winter einen Ski-Wachs-Service. Tolles Hotel für junge und aktive Touristen!

Abbiamo pernottato in questo hotel con la formula pernottamento e prima colazione e ci siamo trovati bene.... le stanze le ho trovate pulite e letti comodi, ma il punto forte è certamente la colazione... sia la classica colazione all'italiana che la colazione europea.... tutti prodotti freschi partendo dal pane e dagli affettatati. Molto apprezzabile la pulizia dell'hotel e la gentilezza del personale.

Fälschlicherweise haben wir eine Fehlbuchung über Booking gemacht. Nach Telefonat mit dem Hotel und deren Zusage, wenn Booking der Stornierung zustimmt, würden sie ebenfalls einer Stornierung zustimmen, wurde unerwartet ein klares nein. Die finale Ironie war letztendlich ein Anschreiben, warum wir unseren Aufenthalt nicht angetreten haben. Wir sagen Danke für nichts. Nie wieder dieses Hotel.

Wir haben schon einmal in einem Explorer-Hotel (Hinterstoder) übernachtet, und die positiven Erfahrungen haben uns dazu bewogen, diese Hotelkette wieder zu wählen. Es ist einfach, das Auto rund um das Gebäude zu parken, das Gelände ist riesig. Auf Anfrage ist auch ein Tiefgaragenplatz verfügbar (8 EUR/Tag). Der Skiabstellraum ist sehr geräumig und gut ausgestattet, es gibt sicherlich Platz für Skier und vor allem für Skischuhe. Es gibt eine Waschmaschine und einen Trockner (beide Marke MIELE) im Skiraum, Sie können für 3 EUR waschen. Dies kann vor allem in den Sommermonaten nach dem Radfahren oder Wandern sehr nützlich sein. Der Wellnessbereich bietet die gewohnte Qualität, vielleicht war die Sauna niedrig temperiert (ca. 80-85 C Grad). Das Frühstück ist abwechslungsreich und von sehr guter Qualität. Das Personal ist schnell dabei, benutzte Gläser und Teller wegzunehmen.

Super hotel, schön chillig, Zimmer ein bisschen klein, aber gemütlich und sehr sauber. Saunabereich - top. Frühstück mit der "Eierstation" ist ein absoluter Highlight, natürlich für alle die es selber besser können und kein anderer das Ei für sie besser zubereitet :-)

Ein sehr gelungenes Konzept von einem Hotel für sportliche Leute und deren Familie,sauber , schön,nachhaltig und eine tolle Lage. Die Ausstattung ist modern und funktional und der ökologische Ansatz gut umgesetzt. Ein sehr freundliches Personal, genügend Möglichkeiten sich sportlich auszupowern um sich danach im Spa Bereich zu erholen. Das Frühstücks Buffet ist sehr gut und es wurde auch an die Vegane Ernährung gedacht 👍 Ich empfehle es gerne weiter 😀

Das Explorer Umhausen liegt ideal in der Mitte des Ötztales. Für UrlauberInnen, die tagsüber wandern, radeln, klettern wollen - einfach unterwegs sind und erst am Abend ins Hotel kommen, sind die Zimmer praktisch eingerichtet: kompakt, zweckmäßig, große Fensterfront mit Blick in die Berge. Holz dominiert die Räume, die Zimmer sind dennoch geschmackvoll modern eingerichtet. Große Fensterfront. Herrlich der Blick beim Aufwachen zu den Gipfeln. Netter Dusch-/WC-Bereich. Ein Highlight: Tolles Frühstücksbüfett (alle Wünsche werden erfüllt: ein Dutzend verschiedene Müslisorten, wer will, kann sich ein Ei, Omlett oder Speck in der Pfanne braten, Vegetarisches, Brötchen, mehrere Brotsorten, Kuchen, Obst,Gemüse, Saft - sensationell), nette Bar- und gemütliche, farbenfrohe Lounge am Abend. Der absolute Pluspunkt ist jedoch die den Gästen zugewandte Atmosphäre. Natürliche Tiroler Herzlichkeit (auch bei den Nicht-Tiroler Beschäftigten). Herzliche MitarbeiterInnen an der Rezeption (Sandra, Amelie und Co.) sowie das Frühstücksteam rund um Rosi. Zudem: Werkstatt für Fahrräder, Sauna, Dampfbad, Fitnessbereich. Einfach spitze. Wir kommen garantiert wieder.
