A treasure. Immaculate, very very safe, best view on the bay, next door to Alton’s dive shop ( recommended). I want to come back with my wife next time. The owners take great pride and truly want you to relax, feel safe, and enjoy their island. nobody should leave any hotel room unlocked…but you could here.

Great hostess. Wonderful location for divers and non-divers. Clean and cozy. The orientation by the owner helped us know where to go and how to get around town. The people on the island are very friendly.

This is absolutely amazing place to stay every time we come to Utila we stay there. Miss Thelma, and Mr. O’Neill are amazing people and I couldn’t say enough. Nice words about them and the place is immaculate and it’s just fantastic.. Please consider staying there whenever you’re in Utila .

Perfect spot on the island with a fantastic view. The hotel is built on piers over the water and is situated away from the chaotic area by the ferry dock. You will need a ride to the hotel from the ferry. Its clean and quiet, comfortable and safe. We loved out 6 night stay and would absolutely use this hotel again

This is my second time staying with Thelma, she never ceases to amaze me. From the start her amazing banana bread was waiting upon arrival. She also recommended a couple of new spots that did not dissapoint. The Lighthouse by far is my favorite place in Utila, clean, spotless, centric and packed with everything you need. A timeless stay here at the Lighthouse.
