Hotele niedaleko The Salvation Army (Uxbridge), Uxbridge

It is a nice property. I think in summer it would be especially nice. I arrived and left in dark hours. Room was nice . Bedding and amenities were good. Tea and coffee in room. Hair dryer fan and ironing board in cupboard. The breakfast was very good. Cereal, juice, tea and coffee , fresh fruit and cooked breakfast. Only one thing which was a let down was cleanniness in communal areas. Especially in restaurant , carpet with bits on it and floor that looks in need of mopping was a put off. It is a simple fix . I would stay again.

We were checked in by Ali late last night & he met us again this morning & brought our bags downstairs. Our room was 204 which was a twin room, we had a powerful hot shower in the morning which is just what we needed before our flight. The room was clean, bathroom could do with a bit of superficial patchwork but for £100 last minute booking so close to Heathrow this was definitely the best deal we could find. Ali was very helpful & friendly & rang a taxi for us in the morning. Would stay here again before catching our flights.

Served its purpose, room was quiet, clean and had suitable amenities. The vibe of the hotel was good and was close to public transport links. Service was lacking when it came to moving bags in and out of the room, it goes a long way for someone’s experience when a staff member offers to carry or help with one’s bags especially when there is a few of them to carry or even having a luggage porter/trolley on site so one doesn’t have to make multiple trips up and down from the room. Other than that it was a good experience.

We were overall very satlsfled at thls accommodation.Just a little thing we were unhappy with was a room scent😅 very strong shaving foam all over .

Quite frankly, by day 2 we had fallen in love with the place, all staff on all sections were brilliant. All facilities were clean, well maintained and up to spec. Indoor pool, outdoor pool, 2 saunas, ice plunge pool, tennis courts, orchard and children's play area. There is also archery, bike hire and even boat hire so you can have a little trip on the river. We didn't do breakfast but there is a lovely little coffee bar with pastries and for the evening meal the main restaurant operates a buffet style with about 30 options so you could try a little bit of everything. The quality of the food was also very good. Finally I'll just mention that my partner enjoyed a couple of treatments at the spa and said her experience was superb. This was booked by my company at short notice. I would not advise choosing to stay here. Dated and lacking any effort to tidy up external areas the hotel has had no investment. This is a shame as the site is well-located and has character and a bit of history. There is evidence that the hotel is used to support international travel which was evidenced by the derogatory comments left on the bathroom mirror concerning Luton airport which appeared in the condensation after my first shower suggesting that the room cleaning was slightly haphazard. There is a need for just basic handyman work, really simple activity like touching up paintwork, holes in walls etc and removing obsolete room fittings for hairdryer and kettles that have been replaced by plug-in models. The bath plug didn’t work and shower head spray couldn’t be adjusted, wobbly toilet flush etc. Even the ‘new’ annex, which I stayed in, is looking very tired. Basic administration and effort was lacking such as updating the room folders with correct information. No mention of the internet password in the room – which required a tramp down to reception to ask. I did it just so I could leave this review. There is a nice array of coffee making items but rather marred by a lack of teaspoons which required me to stir my hot chocolate with my toothbrush handle. The signs and literature refer to the site as having a restaurant yet it doesn’t even provide a breakfast. It mentions the site as a venue for functions such as weddings; the state of outside areas and communal areas would not support this assertion. A bit of TLC could make this a good hotel and venue.

Wonderful friendly staff and a great selection of freshly prepared food including delicious creative salads as well as 3 hot dishes! Particularly loved the beef stew and spinach arincini and the mooli and chickpea sauce. Children loved the red velvet and banofee tart! Well done Chef Valentina and team- thank you for an awesome evening. We will be back.

The hotel location is very good, in the center of the town, there is a station and a supermarket downstairs, about six minutes walk from the train station. The room was clean, the double bed was small. There is a kettle in the room, but no hair dryer, no hair dryer, no hair dryer (> ﹏ <). I was out of luck. The bathroom door was broken. I almost shut myself in and couldn't get out. Fortunately, my mother rescued me (´; ︵; `)

I loved my stay here. Perfect if you're heading to the airport first thing in the morning. So close to the airport bus, got there within 15 mins. There was also a free breakfast before I left. Overall great stay!
