Stayed two weeks for business. Reception is very friendly and fast. The rooms are comfy and large enough. The restaurant is very good and serve both today's specials and fine dining. Decor is nice and cosy. Service is very good. Personal but always professional. Wine selection is ok considering the location. Recommended.

An excellent environment, with very good food, very kind and helpful staff, ideal for corporate conferences. Clean rooms and place with pool table and other table games for free timeClose to Vadstena city center (10 minutes by foot).

The spa is very nice. One of the best ones out there. Missing massage by waterfall thats it. Plenty of pools and saunas. Rooms ok but not more. Restaurant also good with good food. Breakfast was also fine but nothing extra ordinary. Best thing of the stay was without a doubt the SPA!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Starby Hotel. Our room was clean and quiet, the staff were very friendly, helpful and professional and the food ( we only ate breakfast there) was very good. The back garden area is beautiful and a lovely place to sit and have breakfast or a cocktail.
It is worth noting that the accommodations are much more of a "motel" than a "hotel" and the rooms have the feel of a motel with a bit of paint and polish applied. Quite comfy and clean, but a distinctly different feel than one expects in a "hotel".
The location is great and it is an easy and short walk into the downtown and is only minutes to the castle and also has a good grocery store right across the street.
Overall a definitely positive experience and would recommend.

Väldigt små rum med ännu mindre badrum, dock fräsht med sköna sängar. Boka restaurang innan resa annars risk att det är fullbokat!
Dyrt spa som inte uppfyllde förväntninarna.

Ett underbart ställa att åka till och koppla av på. Spa avdelningen var bra och fräsch.
Trevlig personal både på Spa, hotell och restaurang.
Maten på restaurangen var fantastisk.
Dubbelrummet vi hade var fint och hade en jätte skön säng.

Vue imprenable sur une station service et une grande surface : cela commence bien ! Ensuite, l'insupportable bruit de la ventilation dans les chambres, permanent et impossible à arrêter. Enfin, le prix : 180 euros la nuit !!!!! En France, cet établissement n'aurait pas ses trois étoiles, en dépit d'un petit déjeuner de qualité. Soit vous allez dormir ailleurs, soit...vous allez dormir ailleurs.
