My husband and I have stayed here for years, but this was the first time that we brought friends with us as well who stayed in a separate room. Many of the rooms in the main lodge are perfectly outfitted to host large groups, families, or multiple friends very comfortably, with lots of beds and space. Our friends loved their room, and we stayed with them the first night while our room was booked, then moved out the next. The owners of snow mansion are wonderful and so helpful, always close by and ready to help if there are any issues, but the rooms are well outfitted and the lodges come with a full kitchen and many amenities so we have usually found everything we needed. We will be coming back to stay again, not only because we love this hotel and property, but because the location is fantastic, with many amazing cafes, restaurants, and stores right across the road, and the ski resort less than 15 minutes down the road, while the larger town of Taos is likewise only 15 minutes in the opposite direction and has everything you need.

Stayed here for one night and never again. Shower curtain was stained. No hot watwr to shower in the morning. Beds were terrible. My 8 yr old said all you could feel was the wires(springs). Bed I slept in was sunken in. Paper thin walls. Flooring is uneven. A 2x4 is used to make the bed level. Flooring material is painted concrete and plywood.

We love this place. We stayed here before COVID. The owner AMU is super kind and humble person. In few years, he has changed the entire face and facility of this hotel. There is brand new building, hotel with fully equipped guest rooms. He has his own greenhouse, and you can pick up vegetables to cook for your own. No charge. Nonsmoking, Great location. One must- must stay here and not in city of Taos which i sonly 15 minutes away..

This felt like a true village experience & we thoroughly enjoyed it! SnowMansion is right on the corner and within walking distance to shops, ice cream, market, and restaurants. The room was big & comfortable. The area downstairs is nice, a lot of chairs & a pool table. Each room has a keypad to enter but it would be nice if the doors had a deadbolt or latch from the inside. Also, the shower head sprayed water everywhere & couldn’t be adjusted. Those things are easily fixable though & I would stay here again. Glad we found this little gem nestled between the town of Taos & Taos Ski Village, great location!

The entire place is extremely run down. The furniture in the common areas was stained and had holes. The flooring was the same. Our room had paneling for flooring. It looked as though it hadn’t been vacuumed before we arrived. There was no staff on site which was fine but the text messages kept saying they could get us anything we needed.

Nestled in a charming corner of town, this quaint hotel offers everything for an easy weekend trip. We stayed two nights to visit friends in the area and this was the perfect spot. The suite was comfortable and charming. What's more, the delightful Sol cafe across the street is a hidden gem, serving delectable breakfasts and coffee. Convenient parking and a full kitchen are two notable highlights.

It was the perfect away.Located ona small organic farm in an adorable town. It is n-between Toas and Sky Village.Perfect location.At night you can enjoy beautiful sunsets from the back yard.Has a cozy homey filings. The staff is so friendly and welcoming.Snow Mansion is a hidden treasure.Will definitely be visiting again.

It was such a wonderful place to stay. My older children loved the fact they had their own bed. We loved sipping tea on the balcony and the room was probably the cleanest room we have ever been in. Lastly, we loved that there was a kitchenette with pans and dishes to use. We will definitely go back.
