Cambie Lodge

Definitely not impressed with B&B, wouldn’t say we got a good reception on arrival, we were late booking in, but had already advised them we would be and thanked for letting them know. It was a tiny room, I have bruises on my thighs from walking around the bed to prove it, no plug for sink, room was stifling when we arrived! no Aircon but fan that made horrendous noise. My husband asked if we could be moved to a better room, and we were told we could move, but would have to move to another room when the new guests arrived, stupid statement that didn’t make any sense, three rooms in three nights!!! The only upside was the vegetarian breakfast it was basic but good, and enough to set you up for the day, well me anyway, it consisted of, cereals, juice, toast, butter, jam, teas, coffee etc eggs anyway you want including omelettes, it’s a shame the chef didn’t know how to smile!! Supposed to be going back for our last three nights before flying home, that won’t be happening, I’ve cancelled the booking!!😡

Stayed in the Cambie for another one stay to enjoy the ELO concert at Rogers arena. We booked the Braodway room for $275 plus taxes for the one night stay. Room is basic but very comfortable. The Cambie has everything you need plus a good breakfast. Location is good, lots of shopping and restaurants close by. Only a $12 fare to the arena and lots of taxis. Staff are very welcoming and nice. Only limited parking so arrive a little early and sign in. Neighbourhood is very quiet and safe. Easy travel to enjoy the Vancouver tourist spots. In this day and age a great place to stay.

Close to VGH and Canada Line stop. Exceptional customer service. Breakfast has a number of options including gluten free choices. Beds are comfy. Limited number of fairly simple rooms. Very quiet. My choice of where to stay each time I’m in Vancouver.

Lovely older home, well maintained.. Rooms were clean, had mini fridge & private bathroom. Vegetarian breakfast was very good and plentiful. Breakfast can be a bit slow if they have a lot of guests come into the kitchen at once, only 1 cook. We were fine with that Convenient location near Canada line, bus stop a block away. We were 6 couples & all enjoyed our stay. Owners take pride in their home and providing great service

This was such a great little gem! My husband and I stayed for 2 nights here while waiting to board our cruise! We stayed in the room, broadest, and it was cute with a balcony. This is a very cute and clean room. If you are expecting a fancy hotel, you will be disappointed! The staff was fantastic! The young lady who cooked breakfast in the morning was so sweet and helpful around the city! The breakfast spread is simple and delicious! I would stay here again!

Great B&B. A business compromising two well kept decades old homes from the early part of last century. We stayed in the Cambie Lodge. Limited parking so try to arrive a little early to get a space then check-in. Wonderful staff, friendly and helpful. Very good location on Cambie with many local restaurants. We stayed for the Tears for Fears concert so local hotel stays were priced stupidly. This B&B is still priced high but everything is being foolishly priced out of the market these days. We used taxis a couple of times and were surprised they were priced fairly reasonable. Recommend, yes.

Wonderful place to stay. Quiet and comfortable. An easy walk to public transportation options. My husband and I used a combination of Uber, bus, and light rail. We enjoyed a delicious homemade breakfast on the covered deck out back. A real treat! We would definitely stay again.

The 2nd bedroom right bedside laundry and furnace room. Furnace squeaked at night. Very noisy. Bathroom with filthy with full on fur on ceiling vent old hair on baseboards and filthy behind toilet. Old hair scrunched found under edge of bed. Just gross. Was quiet at night. Ceilings all coming apart carpets with torn edges. Left a day early.

We stayed here due to its proximity to health care facilities. The house is a well preserved vintage house in a great neighbourhood. Rooms were small but very clean. We had out breakfasts in the adjoining B and B and they were very good. Staff were pleasant and helpful.
