Friendly staff, good food but truly substandard and tatty room. Dysfunctional plumbing (no hot water, perpetually running toilet), damaged furniture, broken door, peeling walls and the most abysmal view out of any hotel room anywhere. See the photos.

We had a great stay at the Namaqua Lodge. Something we found really special was that they allowed us to eat our prepared food in their dining room, and even gave us cutlery. That was really special. The place was very clean, and the staff are really wonderful. They even ironed our clothes. Thank you guys.

What an absolute joy it was to stay over at you lodge. Thank you for accommodating us by upgrading our room to a flat because I needed a shower and not a bath because of screws in my back. Staff is super friendly, as you can expect from a small town. Everything you need in one place, no need to go out for supper, th erestaurant and bar is on the premises, a huge plus for anyone.

Namaqua Lodge is affordable, clean and the food is good with a great price comparison. The staff are friendly and make you feel welcome. The lodge is just off the N7 which make s it easy accessible. They have a generator for load shedding.

It was the most relaxing period. The owners and staff was very warm and welcoming. Close to the N7, and just the place to be for breaking away from busy life and city. Food - 100% Tops. Service of Staff - 100% Tops. I will definately visit again.

By the time I woke up hot water was not available, I had to bath with cold water. Dinner served at 19:30 that's way too late. They only interested on serving their tourists not local customers. I used to like this place but after this trip I'll never set my foot there again I'd rather sleep on my car,

We had a wonderful stay at this quaint hotel. It was our anniversary so they had gone to extra effort with things in our room for us. It also just so happened that on this night that had arranged with Namaqua Wines to give us free wine tasting if we booked the dinner. It was fantastic. Such a nice touch. The room was great, service brilliant and we would definitely recommend this hotel. Well done!
