The building samples an eclectic architecture with outstanding neoclassical elements. It is one of the most important buildings of the historical centre of the city.
It has 17 rooms with air conditioning, TV, telephone, mini-bar, security box, private bath and Internet service.

酒店位置可以，面對中央公園，但酒店一般般，寧願住遠一點，開車過來mantaza 看，（這地方也沒有什麼看，可住可不住）

Excellent! Very friendly and amazing service. Best accomodation during our trip in Cuba. Rooms are very Comfy and clean, the staff always kind and available. Convenient prices and card payment accepted as well as cash Highly recommended!

We didn’t stay at the Velasco, but we went to the bar two nights in a row because the bartenders are all so nice. Osmay, Oliver and Yanerys all know how to mix great drinks. Osmay is the best at the “Velasco,” a drink named for the famous hotel itself. It is a colorful creation that has mint and grenadine liqueurs. He also speaks perfect English and is a gifted conversationalist whose passions outside of the bar are Baseball and Fishing. Yanerys is famous for inventing the “Purple Everest Daquiri” that includes a magical combination of wines and liquors that is not only extremely tasty, but also really beautiful when properly prepared (see pictures). Oliver is a gifted mixologist with a rich appreciation of the ingredients and techniques used, and regularly creates new and innovative mixed drinks. He showed us one design utilizing multiple colored liqueurs. Needless to say, this is a fun environment. It’s a beautiful hotel lobby bar with super nice staff.

Vinimos a desayunar. Pedimos un jugo de guayaba, un café cortado y un sandwich de pollo, había azúcar blanca, y el sandwich venía acompañado de aceitunas, mostaza y ketchup, sabía rico. El pan estaba un poco duro. Nos atendió Emilio, es muy servicial y agradable.

Me encantan los desayunos al tener variedad y excelente calidad. Las picaderas son espectaculares para beber. Disfruto mucho los cafés en las tardes son muy ricos. El servicio muy eficiente y amable. Me gustan los diferentes tipos de ofertas que te ofrecen.

El bar del hotel Velazco lugar q visito hace mucho tiempo donde me tomo el mejor cafe de la cuidad. Donde se respira una paz y una tranquilidad que te dan deseos de quedarte todo el dia…destacando la atención y el buen servicio del equipo gastronómico…mis felicidades por el gran trabajo…lo recomiendo al 100 %.
