My girlfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is an old well-kept classic indian type building. We found the architecture quite charming and the roof top by the river is great. Aashu works at the hotel, and is available to help at all time. If you need to find out what things should cost or need to organize a taxi or boat ride, go ahead and ask him :)

The most amazing experience ever. Me and friend went for a girls vacation and tbh we were a little skeptical at first, but the place just grew on us. It was really a home away from home. Very safe and people are really helpful. One should definitely also eat at filo cafe which has the most amazing pizza ever.

There were constantly problems with water, I am not talking about the lack of hot water (which happens often in India) but twice there was a total lack of water and even when the water was working, the pressure made very challenging to have a shower. No toilet paper provided. The breakfast was the poorest I have experienced in India. The restaurant on the rooftop is basically useless since they do not have 90% of the things listed in the menu and they are open just from 4 to 9 in the afternoon. The staff is ok (not bad but also not particularly friendly compared to my previous experiences in India). All those things (apart from the water issues which are not ok in any case) would be fine if the price was average but for that price I expect much much more.
