La Bastide du Bois Breant

Lovely stay. Warm welcome and friendly team. We arrived in the early afternoon and they were very kind to make a salad as we didn’t get a chance to have any lunch. We enjoyed our night stay and Would recommend.

ENDROIT A FUIR ! Accueil déplorable ! J'ai réservé le resto pour 4 personnes le mardi pour le vendredi soir 17 juin. On me dit ok, c'est noté. En me faisant tout un plat sur les produits frais utilisés... Quand nous arrivons, avec une personne de 85 ans, personne... il a fallu que j'appelle, le patron me répond que, comme il y a un mariage le lendemain, il m'a zappée ! Il était à 50m dans le parc, il nous a bien vues (nous étions seules sur la terrasse) et il est allé se cacher dans le bois !! Grande classe !! Et devant mon silence au téléphone, (on me l'avait jamais faite celle là), il me dit que le resto pas loin de là est ouvert ! À ce point là, il est préférable d'aller vendre des salades...

I stayed here in February with a group of business colleagues, and was immediately blown-away by the quality of what the hotel and it's setting have to offer. The hotel building and grounds are beautiful, quaint and full of character, with the individual rooms well appointed and clean. The food was amazing, with a good fresh breakfast selection, and plenty of choices for meals at lunch and dinner. Excellent hospitality and very friendly staff. We may have visited early in the season, but the hotel is set in a beautiful location, with lots to do. I recommend a walk in into Oppéde-le-Vieux, the views from the church at the top are breathtaking - certainly better than my home town of Bristol!

It was a great stay, the owner was very friendly and hospitable. We definitely recommend it!

We stayed here for two nights and although our stay was mostly enjoyable we felt there were things that could be improved. We upgraded to Plenitude Room and it was very spacious with a comfortable bed and a large bathroom. The bathroom had maintenance issues, however. There were two sinks but one of them had only one tap working. Although the shower had a rain shower head, the other hose wouldn't stay on the pole as the fitting wouldn't tighten. The shower cubicle also leaked water onto the bathroom floor. The bedroom had lovely big windows with a view of the hills. Unfortunately there was a table directly underneath which was a favourite smoking spot morning and evening while we were there, so we had to keep closing the windows in our non-smoking room(!) to avoid the smell of cigarette smoke. There was a message in the room asking us to sort recycling into the bin in the bedroom - we'd have been only too happy to do this but there was no bin. The restaurant is shut on Sundays and Mondays but that suited us as there is a very pleasant restaurant, Le Bergerie, just a few hundred metres away. The owner kindly booked us a table there for our first night and we were pleased to return there the following night. If you do wish to eat at the hotel, make sure you mention this when you book as tables have to be booked by 11am for that day. We also noticed a sign which said towels for the pool are available for free if you stay for two nights, otherwise there is a fee of 2 euros - we didn't encounter this anywhere else that we stayed. There is a pleasant courtyard area but the table and chairs could have been set out a bit more imaginatively to make it look more welcoming. Settings on some of the tables for breakfast would have been nice, too. Reading previous reviews, it looks as if there has been a fairly recent change of ownership as we didn't recognise the names. Hopefully, in time, Le Bastide du Bois Breant will receive the TLC it needs.

Very charming hotel with stunning view on the luberon hills. When you’re drinking a glass of rose at the swimming pool, life can’t get much better. Ideally situated to visit the luberon-villages. E.g. 10 minute drive to menerbes, 15 minute drive to Isle sur la Sorgue and gordes, 20 minute drive to rousillon.

Parfait, très belle et chaleureuse parenthèse dans ce lieu hors du temps, acceuil plein de gentillesse et d'attention. Beaucoup de magie provencale grace à la présence de la jeune femme propriétaire.Notre grande chienne était la bienvenue. Des conseils et des services , demi pension et petit dejeuner de très bonne qualité (fromages top ! ) chaque jour comme on souhaite en trouver dans les hotels de famille, bravo et continuez tout cela. Autre point fort : la propreté des chambres. A très vite pour notre prochain passage !

Cette bastide est superbe , beaucoup de charme , nous y sommes allés pour un séminaire , l endroit s y prête et dispose de plusieurs salles toutes très belles . Le directeur nous a très bien accueilli, Nous y sommes retourné pour passer un court séjour , la cuisine est délicieuse.. faite maison , un vrai régal Je recommande vivement ce lieu magique !
