Hotel Golden Sand

First they refused to give the non ac room. Bathroom flush was not working properly. Mobile power point also having issues. Rest all good

Bath room not at all clean. As it seems to be cleaned but there were lots of cockroaches inside the bath room. Not at all hygiene

Stay was poor. They don't provide basic amenities. Even drinking water also. Room not clean at all.

We booked rooms for 2adults and 2 kids, but they provide bed for one couple bed size and small room, room not cleared dust with bad smell. We requested extra bed, that also very dirty bed, and breakfast provided one plate of food.

Such a irritating hotel its is not a star hotel nothing in room soap towel air conditioner is not working properly even i have worked in star hotel but this is not called a lodge at-least low then budget lodge they are important give only for money not guest. Waste for money

Room was just as in photo though i was not given early check-in as requested but other wise everything was nice the pilgrimage was very satisfying

It was a very bad experience.the rooms and washroom were not cleaned no toiletries in the washroom no single towels water bottle in the room …I called up more than 3 time for one water bottle. If you are planning to visit velankanni please avoid to stay in this property…..I paid for the complimentary breakfast as they already mentioned on the website it will be buffet but next day when we went for the breakfast the restaurant staff informed me it’s a set menu there will be no other options..disappointed at least you guys should inform your customers about your hotel policy and rules . Even no floor met in the rooms . I don’t know how they can treat any person like this… please avoid this property.in the same budget you will get good hotel with nice service and behaviour…but one positive side is the velankanni church is very near to this property around 100 meters…that is the only good thing about this property..

Most horrible stay i have ever had, cocoroaches running in the canteen and over you, terrible behaviour of the reception staff, even if you book and somehow become late for 4 to 5 hours due to traffic, your booking won't be taken into consideration, will have to fight for the booking, not at all friendly for the family, only ac rooms were neat, nothing more. A lifetime terrible experience, if for any reason you can avoid, just avoid this hotel.

The executive rooms are more horrible than the railway station platform. Taps and buckets seem 100 yrs old. The towels were as if they were used for cleaning floors. The reception manager was the worst, no cleaning of rooms was done.
