I booked Dharbar banquet hall for my Neice tonsuring and ear boring cermony on 27 October 2024. Food : Banquet manager Ms. Farzana arranged for a meetup with Executive chef Mr. Tamilvanan to customize the buffet menu. Executive chef accepted to provide some of the food items (dosa, pesarettu instead of roti, naan) which were not in their standard buffet menu. On the day of the event, Buffet started at the requested time and every item was refilled whenever needed. Fried items like Fish fry and chicken fry were freshly cooked and refilled at regular intervals during the buffet. Executive chef Mr. Tamivanan provided pineapple souffle in Dessert counter as a Chef's compliment. One thing I want to appriciate the most is, though we got 30 % more guests than expected, All same food items were prepared and served to all guests till the end. Banquet Hall : Banquet hall was in 1st floor in close vicinity to the hotel main entrance and with access to 2 spacious elevators for the guests. Banquet hall was very spacious (We booked for 100 pax. total capacity was 300 pax) with seating arrangement of 4-5 rows of theatre like chairs and cluster of round tables (5-6) with chairs were provided as we requested. Stage was also set as east facing as we requested. Banquet manager and chefs were checking if everything was going fine as per plan from starting to end of the event and buffet. Last but not least, buffet waiters, housekeeping staffs all did their part very professionally.
