We spent 2 nights in this hotel. When you arrive you are getting such a warmly welcome. The room was really nice - especially that Venice oriental style. Just the bath, as some already mentioned, does not fit to the room. It is clean and is equipped with everything what you need/expect. Just different from the style. And one more little highlight are the big air con devices in front of the window which a super loud. The rest was really perfect. Breakfast buffet included everything what you need. Just only the powder coffee you can get for the price - rest you need to order separately which is different to other 5 stars Hotel where I have been before. At least one „good“ coffee should be included in the high price.
Overall really a nice stay with a SUPER friendly helpful staff. And the location is really perfect as you are close to the top sightseeing locations.

Отель 4 звезды! Что даже написано на фасаде. Завтрак в отеле стоимостью более 600 $ в сутки просто что-то неописуемое… 2 вида пикетированного сока. Скрэмбл, яблоки, груши, виноград, 2 вида ветчины и 2 вида сыра. Один вид хлеба, помидоры. На этом шведский стол заканчивается ) сам отель очень старый и не уютный. За 2 дня в спа так и не смогли попасть. Здесь оно тоже за отдельную плату. Посещения бани и бассейна на час стоит 200 евро.

Hotel jest usytuowany w doskonalym punkcie, a jego wystroj oraz pokoi jest wrecz magiczny. Jak wszedlem do pokoju, to naprawde zrobil doskonale wrazenie. Typowo wenecki wystroj, piekny widok, klimat, nie ma takich hoteli za duzo na Swiecie i dlatego, to az troche boli kiedy daje sie takiemu miejscu tylko 4/5. Ale, no wlasnie. Zarzuty z komentarzy, ze hotel oferuje tylko 1 mala butelke wody na caly pobyt sa sluszne. Zarzuty, ktore przeczytalem, ze uzupelnia sie tu w lazience tylko jedna rolke papieru na dzien, sa prawdziwe. Dodatkowo na sniadaniu sa najprostsze rzeczy, nie zetknalem sie tutaj bedac 4 dni z takimi rzeczami jak bekon, czy kielbasa. Co dziennie jest tylko jajecznica, jakies owoce, troche sera, dzemu, nutella. Soki sa w karafkach, kazda karafka ma wielkosc 1 litra, a wiec jak 4 gosci napelni szklanke to nie ma soku i trzeba prosic kelnera o uzupelnienie. To niby pikus ale irytujacym jest co dzienne proszenie o dolewke. Maslo i rogaliki sa przynoszone na poczatku sniadania. Jezeli jestes sam to otrzymasz 1 kostke masla i dwa rogaliki, a jezeli jestescie w parze to tez tylko jedna kostke masla i dwa rogaliki na 2 osoby 🤣 wiec znowu o wiecej masla trzeba sie prosic, tak jak o sok. Na poczatku myslalem, ze taki jest styl tego hotelu, staromodny, gdzie estetycznie moze nie pasowac jakas wieksza ilosc dodatkow i ze to wszystko nie jest intencjonalne, wynika ze stylu. Ale gdy napilem sie soku, to byl rozcieczony pol na pol z woda. W luksusowym hotelu 5 gwiazdkowym, gdzie noc moze kosztowac nawet pare tysiecy euro takie podejscie jest niezrozumiale. Takze, ja uczciwie polecam ten hotel, bo jest eksepcjonalny, do tego ma super obsluge i polozenie ale naprawde nie wiem jak mozna oszczedzac na tak drobnych i malych rzeczach.

Charming hotel! Fabulous service and amazing location. Who could ask for more! We stayed 3 nights and felt completely welcome from the moment we arrived. Al, the concierge helped us get acclimated to the hotel and area surrounding it! He was amazing! Our room was beautifully appointed, we stayed on the floor with the fan collection and I was gifted my very own fan! Grazie! The bed was extremely comfortable and there was plenty of drawer space to unpack. The bathroom was also beautiful and very functional. They provide you with an actual room key which you leave at the desk each time you leave the hotel. Seems to be such an old fashioned concept but also so delightful! This way the staff knows when you have left the hotel for cleaning and also gives you an opportunity to interact with staff each day. I absolutely loved this personal touch! Housekeeping was fabulous! We had breakfast at the hotel each morning. Please don’t miss out on getting a cream puff while there. They were delicious! We didn’t dine in the hotel but did have a nightcap on two separate occasions. It was very cozy but the drinks were definitely overpriced for the area. We understood we were paying for the ambiance and convenience of being in our own hotel. Overall this was a fantastic stay at the beginning of our travels and we would love to visit again.

Rooms were clean. Cleaning personnel very attentive. Reception staff was very attentive and polite throughout the whole stay. Very good breakfast. Be mindful, there is no menu variation from day to day. Beautiful lounge and interior. Nice art collection Nice fancy food in the Oriental bar, however portion extremely small, very pricy, and 10 euros coperto per person. Drinks are also very expensive at the bar, and their Spritz is basically a glass of wine with ice. Restaurant experience, is optional and may be worth it if you really rich. Spa experience was also very pricy, 200 euros , again, only worth it if you are really rich.

Opulent yet cozy, the Metropole is a perfect home base from which to experience Venice. The conciergerie is among the best anywhere, not just in Venice: friendly people who are also totally knowledgeable. They reach out before you arrive to arrange everything you might wish, including the water taxi from the airport or train station. (Take the vaporetto later - there is no better way to alight in this floating dream of a city than from a water taxi at the Metropole's elegant water entrance.) The breakfast room and garden are unexcelled. The hotel is a leisurely ten-minute walk from the Doge's Palace and convenient to anything else you might wish to do. Highly recommended.
