Residence Ca' Foscolo

This apartment could not be in a better location. A water taxi / gondola stop footsteps from the door, 3 minutes from Rialto Bridge on Grand Canal and 5-7 minutes from beautiful San Marco. In a quiet square on a small canal. The hosts are warm and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The interior of the building is traditionally stunning Venetian charm. Our apartment number 2 which is up several flights of stairs was spacious with everything we needed. A small, well equipped kitchenette in a lounge area. Up two steps to the double bedroom and onto the modern shower room. We slept so well on the very comfortable mattress and pillows. The air conditioning was very efficient which we needed, even in April. Such good value for money. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else

Excellent apartment/hotel in a great location in Venice. Apartment was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Reception was staffed daily from 9-2 and were very friendly and helpful. I traveled with my husband and eleven year old daughter. It was great to have a home base vs. hotel to come back to after a day of site seeing.

We have just returned from a two week vacation between Switzerland and Italy. While visiting Venice, we stayed at Ca’ Foscolo. To begin, setting up our stay was SO easy. Elisabetta promptly returned emails, as well as answered any questions I may have had. This was our first trip to Italy, and her help was priceless… The residence itself is BEAUTIFUL. It’s immaculately clean, and has everything you could need for a relaxing stay. Comfortable bed, nice furnishings and is centrally located. It was easy to walk everywhere. One thing we REALLY appreciated, was how quiet it was. Unlike staying in a corporate hotel, you did not hear your neighbors. It was great to be able to walk to the market, buy some fresh fruit and snacks, then come “home “ to relax. That was our routine before going out to dinner in the evening. It was so fun, and romantic to feel like you truly did have your own little apartment in Venice!! I especially loved seeing the fresh laundry hanging on the line outside one of our apartment windows. Venice was just AMAZING. It really is hard to do justice to Ca’Foscolo with a review….words become inadequate. If you are planning to visit Venice, do yourself a favor…stay at Ca’ Foscolo. It’s beyond compare…

We have just come home from our stay here in Venice this weekend. What an amazing weekend we had. This hotel is the perfect location, 4 minute short walk to the Rialto bridge and also roughly 7 minute walk to st marks square. The room was more than we expected, extremely clean and the bed was very comfy! The rooms are amazing, ours had a lovely kitchen area and had coffee/tea/milk included. We had extra pillows and blankets too. We had such a good nights sleep here, it was very quiet and peaceful. Elisabetta was extremely helpful and such a wonderful host! She recommended a lovely restaurant for us and it was the best recommendation, the carbonara was the best I have ever ate in my life! Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay, we would 100% book again and will be recommending to all friends and family. X

We stayed at Ca’ Foscolo for 4 nights in a 1 bedroom apartment that was very spacious and had a small kitchen an washing machine. The location is perfect an easy walk to St Mark’s Square and the Rialto Bridge. It is located in a quiet square with its own dock which is perfect when arriving and departing by water taxi. There are a large variety of restaurants near by. The instructions for checking in and directions given were very easy to follow. Elizabett and Eleanora were both extremely helpful and provided us with information on local attractions and nothing was too much trouble. This accommodation would not be suitable for people with mobility issues as the majority of the apartments are located upstairs and there is no lift. It is an amazing property that is full of charm and has been fitted out beautifully. If we ever return to Venice we would certainly stay here again.

Perfect place to stay in Venice, nice and welcoming people!! Stayed there from 30th December until 3rd January and were given new years' presents (Proscecco, wonderful tasty Italian cake). The rooms were made every day and perfectly clean. Nice little kitchen to cook some pasta or eat take-away pizza. The location is a quiet place (at least in winter) although it's only 5-7 minutes walk from Rialto Bridge. Very recommendable accomodation for Venice. Important for disabled persons: room is on 2nd floor... some steps to make to get to the room.

Amazing stay! The location was great and the space was perfect for our family of five to fit comfortably. An added bonus was the washer and dryer. There were a lot of steps to the apartment, fine for us but just important to note.

Everything about the hotel was exceptional. Great service, room and breakfast. Best place stayed in Itaty. Location wad easy walking distance. We used Rialto ferry stop from the train station. Then short 5 minute walk.

First, I must thank Elisabetta for her extraordinary customer service. My husband and I stayed at Residence Ca’ Foscolo only two nights, and I wish we could’ve stayed longer. Venezia was the last stop of a three-week Italian land tour that we did just before going on a 10 night Greek Isles cruise that started in Ravenna. Because the cruise was the second part of our month-long vacation, we were going to have to lug around our extra suitcase that had our cruise clothes all over Italy. My husband thought to ask if the management at the Residence would be able to store our luggage for us until our arrival date if we shipped it there from Rome after flying to Rome from the US weeks before our arrival to Venezia. I’d contacted Elisabetta to ask if it would be ok, and she said that they’d be happy to hold our shipped suitcase for us. We were so very pleased and so grateful for this huge favor. Outstanding service! The apartment itself was lovely, very comfortable, clean, had an incredible small but fully functional kitchen with washer for clothes plus breakfast food and snacks included. I loved this apartment! The location is excellent, too. We would definitely stay again without hesitation. This place is top top top! Grazie Mille, Elisabetta!!!
