Perfectly located near the Rialto bridge. Very pleasant rooms, fully equiped.Breakfast is very good. The staff are nice people and give you all the information you need. The room was very big , nicely decorated and very clean. The canal grande is 100 meters away

Hotel Viaggiatore is a charming hotel conveniently located for sightseeing. Although it’s small, the service was so good, the room was clean, and the decolation was elegant. The staff members were veriy friendly and provided us with plenty of recommendations for exploring Venice. One point to note is that there is no elevator, but when we arrived, they kindly helped us carry our large luggage up from the ground floor. I would definitely choose this charming hotel again when I visit Venice next time!

Everything about my (all too brief!) stay at La Villeggiatura was quite wonderful. From the moment of booking, manager Barbara was amazingly helpful and communicative, even sending me detailed instructions on how to get to (water bus!) and find Calle Dei Boteri San Polo. Her warm welcome on my arrival was so lovely - and her suggestions on sights to see, exhibitions and churches to visit and art work not to be missed were all invaluable. My beautiful room was spacious, quiet, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Highly recommended!

We had an absolutely amazing time at La Villeggiatura. The room was spacious and spotless, elegantly furnished and very quiet. The matress was very confortable, and the bed sheets were crisp. The staff were attentive and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. We will definetly go back.

We just stayed at La Villeggiatura for 3 nights and it was beyond excellent. The location was perfect and only 5-10 minutes walking distance to the Rialto Bridge, the Rialto market and a few different water bus stops. It is only a 15-20 minute walk to Piazza San Marco. The front door is plain and simple yet, once you’re beyond that, you soon realize the building is very unique. Once you’re upstairs, entering the actual B & B interior, you can’t help but to feel you’ve made the right choice. Everything was well appointed. Each room is spacious, well equipped and the beds are super comfortable. Breakfast was very delicious, a very high quality and the coffee outstanding! Barbara, the manager, has a delightful personality, was a great, great help to us. We enjoyed her very much. In fact, she made our stay. Communication from making our reservation through the entire stay was absolutely the best. Barbara’s explanations of different things, answering our questions, recommends on the modes of transportation, things to do, what to see and dining choices made our stay very enjoyable. She made several dinner reservations for us and her restaurant choices were fantastic. Thank you very much Barbara and Sunil! It was our 2nd time there and you did not disappoint! La Villeggiatura is our place to stay in Venice and gets, absolutely, our highest recommendation!

A perfect stay in a very convenient location behind the Rialto Market. Everything in walking distance. 5 star service from Barbara, better than any 5 star hotel. Breakfast perfect for a family getting ready for whole day of sightseeing. Our rooms were large and linked by a small private corridor, again perfect for a family. Highly recommended.

Thank you for a wonderful stay. We were in Venice for a long weekend with our 10 year old son at the end of Carnevale. It's a brilliant time to visit with kids, just remember to wear you mask! Villeggiatura is perfectly placed, just behind the Rialto, and great for exploring all that Venice has to offer, on a nice little street of bars and shops, and walking distance to everything while not being right in the thick of it, which can be a godsend with the crowds. Our favourite area for eating out was Cannareggio which involves taking a €2 gondola across the canal, a great way to get the gondola experience without the €80 price tag. We also did mask making at Ca Macana which we would recommend to get into the carnival spirit. Barbara is a superb host and went out of her way to tell us everything we could do, also looking up and booking activities and meals for us whenever we needed help. Breakfast is just enough to set you up for a day walking around the alleyways of Venice. The room was beautiful and sizeable for the three of us. I would highly recommend booking here if you are visiting. We really hope to be back. Barbara, Oscar says thanks for the sweets, and the guinea pigs are doing well.

We felt very comfortable with our accommodations. Barbara gave excellent advice and was patient with our getting used to our first visit to Venice.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to La Villegiatura B&B. It is a quaint, comfortable and welcoming bed and breakfast. Barbara and Sunil provided all that we needed for a nice stay. Upon arrival, they provided plenty of information on places to eat and visit and were available throughout our stay for our every need. The Building is close to the Fish Mercado and water bus drop at Rialto Mercado. It is central with easy access to many restaurants and walking throughout Venezia. Great location. Nice and clean facilities. Nice breakfast. Nice people. It was our friend’s second visit to La Villagiatura and we will return in the future.
