We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Villa Marco Polo. It is a beautiful building, with a lovely garden, in a very nice neighbourhood that is close to yet secluded from downtown Victoria. Diana and Alex were great hosts. The breakfasts gave us energy that lasted well into the afternoon. We will definitely return the next time we travel to Victoria.

The mansion is lovely in a beautiful quiet area of Victoria, about 15 minutes walk from excellent restaurants. Our room was lovely -- spacious with lots of natural light, and French doors opening above the beautiful garden; the fountain provided a delightful background for a good sleep in the large comfy bed. The breakfasts were lovely --very large and I kept intending to eat only half of everything, but tasty food is so hard to resist. Most of all, the hosts Alex and Diana were lovely!! We will return.

My husband and I stayed there for two nights as part of our honeymoon. It's a beautiful bed and breakfast, the hosts are wonderful, the location is great, and the breakfasts are exquisite. They made us feel welcome, gave us advice on places to visit and dine out. The architecture of the building is so beautiful, it's kept up very well and very clean. The room we stayed in was so inviting, a great place to relax and unwind. There's a lot to see within walking distance but also just minutes to downtown whether you are driving or taking a taxi. We would highly recommend this bed and breakfast. We loved it.

We stayed for a couple of nights while visiting our daughter in Victoria and loved the Marco Polo. Our room was huge with an amazing view - we could see the ocean and the gardens. It was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Breakfast each morning was at 8:30 am and was a great feast, with different smoothie every morning, a fruit & yogurt creation, an egg dish, toast and muffins. Alex and Diana are very friendly and helpful. We hope to return.

A gem of the first water! I can't say enough good things about this B & B. The property itself is distinct and charming, each room decorated differently and the gardens, lovingly cared for by the hosts personally, are delightful. Alex and Diana couldn't be better hosts, friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are different every day, healthy and delicious. You can tell that this is a labour of love. I am already planning my next visit. I highly recommend a stay here at least once.
