Suburban studios is in a good location, 3 minutes to the spring hill metro, 20 mins from dulus (IAD) Airport and 30 mins from Washington dc also 2 stops from tysons corner shopping centre, The exterior of hotel/studios could do with a bit of an uplift, the room I stayed in was a two double bed room bed was clean and comfortable, there's kitchen facility's (not used so can't coment on them) and a fridge which worked and was clean, there's also a work area with desk and chair (did not use) there's a vanity area with a sink and a few small toiletrys and towels are provided, the bathroom could do with an update, shower head had seen better days, and tub toilet decor dated, bit functional. There are sockets at the bedside, including USB, a clock radio and an old telephone, and lamps. There's a work desk and chair with USB ports,a tv that was intermittent at times, Wi-Fi in room worked fine, There's a clothing rack and a few hangers enough for one, but if 2 stay probably need more. Also a safe, there's also an aircon unit which works yet noisy, also the walls are vert thin tou can hear everything the neighbours are doing from talking on phone to moving around, also outside noise from cars, and people outside talking/shouting, there was some construction going in close by also which went on untill 10pm. The breakfast was included, there's a choice of 2 fruits, 2 cereal, soft cheese, yogurt, waffles, toast, and only 2 cooked items scrambled egg (rubbery) sausage patties (ok) also tea, coffee, and 2 fruit juices. All in the reception are from 6 am weekdays 7 weekends. The food was ok but not great. The reception staff are friendly and check in check out was a breeze. What you have got to consider is that this is just a 2 star accommodation hotel/studio, but if improvements were made could easily be a 3 star. That said, would I stay again, probably, due to location and price.
