Luke's Place

Great comfortable well equipped chalet set in a beautiful tranquil garden with view of the sea. Linda and Louis the hosts were so helpful: meeting us at the airport, taking us to the supermarket, booking trips (and dropping us off/picking us up), ordering take away food etc. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. We had such a relaxing stay - thank you!

Linda not only collected us from our previous lodgings and delivered us to the airport but also stopped at the shops so that we could buy groceries; she ordered food when required and put us in touch with her fresh fish supplier so we knew that we could trust the quality and price. We were able to indulge our desire to feast on seafood, coconuts from her trees, and relax in her lush private garden. With only two cottages sharing a pool, we had it to ourselves most of the time. The leisure furniture was comfortable - a most necessary asset for a holiday near the sea. Although the kitchen surrounded the bed, it did not intrude or reduce the comfort. The bed linen is both pretty and comfortable, suited to the climate. Linda's staff were equally friendly and obliging, without expecting a reward. This made for a most relaxing stay. To top it all the daily rate is most affordable! The wifi connection was weak (a local problem) and there was some noise from passers-by, but that would not put us off from repeat visits every time we travel to Vilanculos.

What an amazing treasure to find. Having been let down by our original booking in Pomene finding Linda and Luke’s Place was such a blessing. Accommodating our various accommodation needs Linda met our every requirement and went above and beyond. Her staff are welcoming and very knowledgeable and were polite and eager to assist with all our requests. The service received from her staff really made the difference to our stay. We would highly recommend this unique villa for anyone wanting a less commercial get away! Thank you Linda and your amazing staff ☀️

We had a blast in Vilancoulos. The house was just stunning, very clean, next to the ocean. the host Linda is such a wonderful and lovely lady. Someone you really miss when saying goodbye. we would defintely choose for the same house and host next time. That's a no brainer. I don't think our experience could have been better.

I truly loved this place . It is place, lovely garden it is right at the beach. The staff is great and very good ambience. It's close to many places that you can walk by to for drink and food. Highly recommend it there flight that land in vilanculus easy to access.

Luke's place is a win! We were looking for something that was quiet, off the beaten track, and still in our budget--and Luke's place was perfect. The property is beautiful and the chalets are well equipped (seriously!). There was such attention to detail in the chalets--everything you might need for a self-catering location. Linda was incredibly helpful with local tips and any questions we had. A very good value, high quality location.

It was my time in Mozambique, and I can honestly say that Luke's Place is the the place to stay. Louis, Linda and their staff are so welcoming and they go above and beyond to meet your needs. The seaview from your room is breathtaking. When I go back to Mozambique I know where I will be staying. David and Anieka

I spent two peaceful nights here. Linda went out of her way to help me with anything. The chalet was comfortable. The proximity to the beach was nice as well. Wifi worked great with their hotspot. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Wow! this place is honestly the most beautiful spot in Vilankulos, I would give it a 10 star if I could. You will not regret booking here. Beautiful views, incredibly clean pool, friendly and caring staff, comfy beds with great mosquito nets and a very nicely equipped kitchen. Linda is a true super host who goes above and beyond to make your stay amazing. She even fetched us and ALL of our luggage (which was a lot).
