Hyatt Place San Diego Carlsbad Vista

The guest server at the breakfast buffet was amazing and very efficient and clean. Thank you so much!!! The room was a bit outdated. Pleasant stay thou.

We had kids running down hallway at night, service was ok, food assistance were very nice for breakfast. Pool heater was broken.

Everything was great. The breakfast is wonderful. I'd like to see more water pressure in the shower is the only thing I'd change. Staff is also very friendly.

This hotel is perfect in every way. Cost, location, amenities, staff was very customer oriented and went above and beyond in every way. Bed was super-comfy, good breakfast too!

It was a trip with my sister to see relatives. We needed something pet friendly and with a hot tub to sink into after our visit. The Hyatt checked off everything for our needs. The room was lovely. The beds so comfortable with luxurious linens, fabulous pillows and thick, soft towels. We were equally impressed with the breakfast, so varied and beautifully presented. We will be back the next time we go down to see relatives again.

Property was clean and breakfast was good. The 2 younger gentleman at checkin, were short and not very friendly.

old hotel. oldest Hyatt hotel i have been. my bed sheet was not clean. i have beaten by bed bugs. they used cold boiled eggs from fridge so not fresh and probably from days before.

The rooms are old, yet they look modern. The bathroom shower floor nasty and unclean, also there is a Oder in the bathroom. The bedding had stains on it, the sofa had food in between the sof and the end table. Then to top it off the lights went out Thursday, there is no reason the Hyatt should not have a working generator. The front desk was very kind,the front area of the hotel is nice, yet they need to do a better job with those rooms.

I needed a place to get work done and this seemed like the right place. I get there, no one a the check-in space and no signs to really clarify that it is a check-in place. Eventualy solved and the gentleman working was great, no issues. I get to my room and it had a gritty dust on the desk and counters. OK, I can get past that. I get settled in to work and then deal with a group of teenagers just tearing up the halls and elevators. I get having fun but it is a small hotel and sound carries. This went on for a while. Then the electricity goes completely out. So much for getting my presentation done. Electricity was out until about 2:15am. Very frustrated at this point. This morning when I left, the elevators aren't working and normally I wouldn't care so much. However, dealing with three heavy cases, and having an injured knee, it was just the topper of the event. When i spoke with the girl at the front desk, she offered zero help aside from saying her manager might be in today ti answer my questin about a refund. I get she is simply doing her job so can't fault her for not taking care of my wishes. I just won't be using this hotel again and won't recommend it either.
