Roompot Marinapark Volendam

The key cards for the apar**ent were delivered so late that they were not available before we left home. So we had to get them at the reception, but this was not a problem. As usual with Roompot, we found the accommodation very clean. However, this only applies to the interior. The balcony railing had not been cleaned for a long time, which was evident by the many cobwebs, dirt and insect remains. Therefore, the balcony was not usable for us. It is strange that in the accommodation there is only a cheap Etna microwave, which has no additional functions like grill or oven. Since there is no other oven, there are not many possibilities to prepare food, which is a big disadvantage in our opinion. The equipment of the apar**ent was good, everything worked. However, we would have liked the TV in the living room to have Internet access to use special functions. It was probably technically possible, but the settings were obviously blocked. As the Wi-Fi in the accommodation worked well, it was possible to use the laptops and smartphones we brought with us without any problems. There are some recommendable restaurants near the accommodation and the tourist center of Volendam is within walking distance.

As a holiday park, you get the perfect balance of peaceful location but nearby to Volendam and short bus ride to central Amsterdam. The supermarket is handy, swimming pool clean and the pool/darts bar was fun. Reception staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The accommodation was more basic than I would have hoped for or expected. Uncomfortable lounge furniture, no oven, mediocre bed comfort, poor room lighting and small TV screen. The home was clean but not spotless. The doors didn’t seem particularly secure. Small improvements would really help build the guest experience.

Must visit place in Northern Netherlands. You can go for a day trip from Amsterdam but I do recommend to spend the night over. A charming and beautiful small tourist place. Try to go in a sunny day to enjoy its best. Walk around the Marina and also around the village.

Mooi park in Volendam op een fantastische plek. Mooie huisjes die netjes zijn ingericht met uitzicht op de haven. Keurige nieuw ingericht en zeer schoon. Tevens een goed restaurant in de haven met heerlijke tapas gerechten. Je loopt vanaf het vakantiepark zo de dijk op en binnen 10 minuten sta je in het hart van Volendam.

Superbe hôtel, chambres spacieuses et bien équipées. Produits offerts de qualité. Silencieux et calme. Room service propre. Petit déjeuner copieux et personnel très agréable. Le plus la piscine. Parking gratuit. Nous sommes ravis de notre week-end nous reviendrons avec plaisir

Mooie ruime hotelkamer met bad. Heerlijk ontbijt, ze serveren je aan de tafel. En komen regelmatig vragen of je nog iets wilt. Je kunt op de kamer koffie of thee zetten en in de minikoelkast staan 2 flesjes water. En rituals toiletartikelen in de badkamer.

Ruime woning , bedden waren voor ons goed. Had wat schrik met de hygiëne van woning , het viel allemaal wel mee . Ramen moeten wel eens gepoetst worden en een nieuw laagje verf . Sommige stoelen zijn aan vervanging toe. Wij hebben hier alleen gelogeerd en geen gebruik gemaakt van faciliteiten dus daar kan ik niets van zeggen. Zicht op jachthaven zeker pluspunt . Voor ons was het gewoon goed.

En paar dagen verbleven op het Marinapark. Het was heel dicht bij de dijk van Volendam. Het huisje was armoedig. Prijs versus kwaliteit is niet goed in verhouding. Op nagenoeg alle muren zaten vlekken, vegen of beschadigingen. Keukenkastdeurtje hing scheef. Afzuikap was bruin aan de onderkant. In elke hoek vond ik spinnenwebben (en bijbehorende spin). Een aantal lampen deden het niet. Douchegordijn was bruin/roze vervuild aan de onderkant. Nergens zaten horren voor de ramen. Het huisje was wel ruim genoeg en de bedden lagen wel goed. Dekbedden waren schoon en wit. De prijs van het huisje vond ik te hoog voor wat je er voor kreeg.

Wat waren wij blijverast wat een prachtige hotelkamer. Prachtige badkamer met Rituals producten. Super goed groot bed ligt heerlijk. Airco op de kamer. Leuk teras op de 1e verdieping. En koelkast op de kamer met spa erin koffie (nespresso) en thee. En alles super schoon. En niet te vergeten het ontbijt. Voor ieder wat wils en alles super vers en heerlijk.
