Dinner was excellent and the service was fantastic at this great family run restaurant. We recommend the lamb as it is one of the best we have had. Generous portions and hats off for the chef. Make sure to stop here when visiting east Iceland. We will for sure be back.

This was such a lovely comfortable stay and our host fed us a a great dinner on the fly as they were not serving dinner that night! Best chicken soup and fresh bread. They did not have private bathrooms but we didn’t mind.

Very quiet and cozy place in the heart of beautiful nature. Warm shower was worth it after 4 previous nights in the campervan. Wafles for breakfast was very tasty. Evening sun on terrace with coffee and bird sing was calming.

Everything was perfect, it was nice quiet place, we got upgraded from room to 2 summer houses. Beds were very comfortable, owners even allowed to use grill so we had the best dinner and breakfast (steaks)

This is a far from everything place, very quiet and calm, ideal to rest. Was easy to drive (with maps app). The staff was helpful (including NELSON - the black dog that is amazing). They have laundry and a restaurant. I got a BIG northern lights (aurora) there, could se from my bed.

We really loved the remote location of this stay, it was beautiful. The bed was comfortable, and showers were clean and the staff was friendly. We loved having a sink in the room so we didn't have to keep leaving to get water. It was convenient!

One of the best places we stayed at during our two weeks in Iceland. A true oasis away from the hustle and bustle of life. The private cabin we stayed in was huge with outdoor seating, a porch, an outdoor grill, and beautiful views of the country side. The family that runs the property also owns the farm the property is on and the on-site restaurant. All the ingredients are local (if not grown on their own farm) and the food was delicious with large portions. We wish we could have stayed longer and highly recommend this location to anyone traveling through this part of Iceland.

Karen & Sölvi are very kind and hospitally people. The place is beautiful and the lamb slices on salad for dinner were delicious! It was really worth to stay there on our way to Akureyri. Thank you very much!
