After a 10+ year hiatus we decided to try out this motel again as the ****** offers no refunds for advance reservations and the Dakota Inn in Pickstown was booked up. The overall experience turned out "okay". There were definitely some issues like taking over 12 hours to obtain a toilet plunger when it was needed and having room service forget to clean our room the first night. And room service is needed daily as towels supplied are very minimal. Property continues to need improvement. I'm sure the new owners work very hard but they really could use a bit more staff and investment in the place. Breakfast was okay and overall I'd say that this motel is now competitive to the Dakota Inn and the ******. Not a great motel. But for the Wagner area it is fairly good.

Clean and comfortable. The owner is on site and very friendly. The carpet appears to have been replaced recently. Everything worked fine. Breakfast was basic, but good. My only suggestion would be to have some fruit available at breakfast. The hotel is under new ownership and they've turned this place around. We will definitely stay here again. We stayed in the wing that runs north and south.
