The front desk staff asked for my vehicle information when we checked in; however, they did not warn me to make sure my Ontario sticker was current. The Ontario government no longer charges for stickers or provides new ones but you can update online.
While I was there, very sneaky Gatineau police ticketed my car twice in a row at 8:30 am for not having a valid sticker. There was no ticket or notice left on my car so I was unaware until I got home, wherein I received two tickets from Gatineau police for $500 each.
When I asked the front desk why they didn't warn customers of this egregious practice, they said I should have know about it as CTV news in Ontario did a piece about it given how many Ontario drivers have been targeted while in Gatineau.
This is simply bad and disgraceful customer service. I would never to the the Moulin Wakefield again. As well, I could only get a massage from someone who was not an RMT and the massage was substandard.
