Red Lion Inn and Suites Walla Walla

I stayed at the Finch last minute on a business trip. I didn't know about this hotel prior to my stay. The location is great and walking distance to downtown Walla Walla. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has great features that made it a fun stay, a fire, games and wine tasting.

I love the Finch, since the first time I stayed here, I won’t stay anywhere else in walla Walla. And I’m very picky. The rooms are clean, elegant, functional, and well designed. The staff is amazingly helpful, quick to respond, and very friendly. They have a great outdoor seating area, a great indoor seating area, they’re located within walking distance of beautiful downtown venues, they have bikes for you to use, there’s plenty of parking. I have never once left the Finch thinking anywhere else might’ve been better. But they also have a ton of cute and cool things they’ve done to give it that little extra that makes it feel special: cool murals/art on the walls that all reference local Walla Walla culture, a fireplace with smores packs, a texting service, a chalkboard in the lobby with recommended wine visits, and so much more. I think what really makes the difference here is that they prove to you that they put in the extra effort to make your stay great. It feels good being here.

This was the first time to Walla Walla. The Finch was a nice location and a nice hotel. Close to many things and the little amenities were super. Being able to come back and hangout by the fire every evening is a very nice touch.

The Finch is perfect — nicely furnished, quiet rooms, and friendly helpful staff! All guests can also enjoy relaxing in lovely community spaces — the open lounge/lobby area, the outside spaces, and the wonderful outside fire pit area in the evenings! The location is terrific—brief walk to downtown restaurants and shops and a few blocks from Whi**an College!

Do you want amazing friendly staff, some of the comfiest beds ever, and a great location within walking distance to some of the best bakery and wineried in Eastern Wa, than look NO FURTHER than the Finch.

Great place to stay—location, amenities and service—but my room and the building smelled like mold. It’s an old cement masonry unit CMU) building and may have leaked at some point. Once fixed this would be a wonderful place to stay.

This hotel was perfect for my husband and our two dachshunds for our week-day trip to Walla Walla. The staff is extremely accommodating and kind. The dogs received a welcome gift!The rooms are fantastic, redone very nicely. The bed was so comfortable! We loved the outdoor space, and the surrounding neighborhood was great for walking the dogs. Very easy to walk to downtown. Will stay again, and would recommend to anyone coming to Walla Walla.

Love the outdoor fire place! Such a fun place to hang out and drink a glass of wine or talk with friends. The vibe of the hotel is very laid back. You can help yourself to tea and coffee all day which is nice. And daily wine tastings! Easy walk to town
