Beautiful Experience!!

Our plan to select taj wayanad for our holiday destination was full of salt and pepper. We drove to Wayanad from Mangalore through Kasargod and Kannur. The road was under repair and hence the route is terrible. Upon arrival we had a warm welcome. And since it was afternoon we proceeded for lunch at shamiayana the all day diner. By the way all our meals we took a la carte as we had kids with us. And without a doubt the food was yum. It was 3 by then but we were not yet allotted our room. I had booked the PREMIUM COTTAGE very long time back but was surprised to find no allotment till 3 pm. I booked the room as in all our previous stays at taj the premium rooms have the best view. But not in taj Wayanad we could see barren land and trees I think the superior rooms would have had a better view of the banasura lake. The room did not come with a bathtub too at that price point. The room on the whole was clean with a clean small bathroom. The activities on the property were interesting but since we had small children we were interested in the children play room which was also small and not well equipped. The restaurants starting from the poolside tropics. The southern spice and the lounge bar were superb with good views, very nice menu and good ambience. I’d like to mention chef Rajmohan from Shamima who was on his toes from breakfast to dinner making sure the guests got what their taste buds loved. The karimeen polichataeu from southern spice was finger licking good a big applause to the team there. Anup, Lina, Ankit all were at their best. Kudos to team Wayanad for making our stay memorable and a POKE to the SALES team maybe as it was off season the room could be bundled with a spa treatment or something as the views were not good to make up for the good price charged. We returned back through madekeri which was a much nicer road.

There is no doubt to give 10 out of 10 for services offered by staff especially chef Raj Mohan, Ankita and Nirav for serving us. Taj is the name where we can trust blindly for quality of services and hospitality. We surely would like to recommend Taj Wayanad to our friends and families

Our dining experience was always quite unique ankita was there to ensure all our requirements are meet be it ensuring we get the right service at the restaurant and ensuring we meet the chef to plan our meal just right. We would suggest you visit atleast once

A great experience was something we felt once we were at wayanand our stay for 3 days was so remarkable that we are going back now only with fond and greater memories a special mention to nilesh Obada Rahul Chef Ameer Ankita. Do plan reach out to the chef and u will have the meal of a lifetime

Truly Taj experience & wonderful stay with picturesque view & mouthwatering food. Overall we had a wonderful family vacation. The staff were courteous, warm & welcoming. Shout out to Raj Mohan who took care of our Jain dietary preference. Memorable holiday indeed.

It was my father's birthday and I arranged a lunch from Canada for my parents. Ganesh Awasthi was very helpful, he coordinated the event really well. Very happy with the service and quality of food. Hats off to the entire team and thanks you Ganesh Awasthi for all your help and making the day special for my parents.

Super.. Calm quet Very good ambience... Very nice and food was so delicious With family I enjoyed very well.... Trip was very attractive to my children... And special thanks to Mr ganesh and Mr prabeesh, they had guided and treated very well....
