Owner and employees thought it was a good idea to have a party on the outside terrace on a Monday night with loudspeakers on full blast. When asked to turn these off at 23:30 the music was turned down but the singing and drumming increased and this went on till about one in the morning. No apologies for a destroyed night of sleep. Cannot recommend.

Wir hatten Glück und konnten den letzten Tisch im Restaurant ergattern. Wir wurden prompt und sehr freundlich bedient. Das Essen - Gersauer Käsekuchen und eine Gulaschsuppe - war top. Das Alpina ist definitiv ein Besuch wert und wir werden wiederkommen!

Nach vielen Jahren war ich wieder mal im Hotel Alpina Rigi Kaltbad für 4 Tage. Ich wurde sehr freundlich begrüsst und das Zimmer war schön, für mich genau richtig. Die Sicht Richtung Berge, wunderschön. Jede Wanderung war für mich ein Vergnügen. Das Nachtessen war fein und schön angerichtet, für mich war eine halbe Portion genug, so hatte noch ein feines Dessert Platz. Ein Verdauungsspaziergang mit einem wuderschönen Sonnenuntergang war für mich jeden Abend der Tagesabschluss. Am nächsten Morgen startete mein Tag mit einem sehr feinen Frühstück. Ich bedanke mich herzlich beim ganzen Alpina Team für den schönen Aufenthalt. Ich werde bestimmt wieder kommen, sei es für einen Tagesausflug oder für einen Kurzurlaub. Das Hotel Alpina kann ich wärmstens empfehlen.

Twee jaar geleden wilden via Treinreiswinkel naar dit hotel maar omdat het toen vol zat, hebben we overnacht in het verderop gelegen hotel Bergsonne. Wel hebben we toen een avond in Alpina goed gegeten en gezegd dat we zeker terug wilde komen om in dit hotel te verblijven. En dat lukte dus dit jaar. We werden niet teleurgesteld. Mooie kamer met balkon met dat mooie uitzicht over het meer. Goede bedden, badkamer en douche prima en verzorgd detail: op het nachtkastje een blokje met twee stopcontacten, een USB- en een HDMI-ingang. Daar was over nagedacht! De ontvangst is gastvrij en aardig; het echtpaar gaat ervoor! Ontbijt goed en heerlijk gegeten in het restaurant. Gewoon een goed "gemütliches" hotel. Het was helaas te koud om buiten op het terras te eten en alleen al om die reden gaan we zeker een keer terug, ook om weer van de Rigi te genieten, de uitzichten en de wandelingen.

Ich hatte schon lange keine Käseschnitte mehr und konnte hier mal wieder eine fantastische Essen. Eben nicht zu durchweicht, gut gewürzt. Service super freundlich, hat auch 3 mal eine kleine Portion serviert da wir eher etwas Kleineres wollten
