Nested between stunning mountain ranges and prestige vineyards, Val du Charron offers beautiful views and a relaxing atmosphere. Spacious rooms with all the essentials are readily available, with air-conditioning, TV and a bar fridge. The rooms at the Coach House have their own courtyard with a splash pool and fireplace. Enjoy a bottle of Erasmus or Dark Countess from Val du Charron while enjoying the stunning views. Friendly staff willing to accommodate your every request makes your stay here that much more enjoyable. Take some time out to relax and book yourself into the Spa. Situated on site and offering a wide range of treatments to get you into a relaxed mood. The restaurant on the premises, The Local Grill, offers amazing food and an excellent meat experience. Ask for Chrisma and she will even turn the vegetarian into a avid meat lover. I rate this restaurant a 5/5! Vibrant and stunning surroundings create an experience you won't forget!

We had the most amazing stay at this beautiful wine estate. The accommodation was superb in a honeymoon suite to die for. The views from our very own pool wonderful. Really relaxing stay and the food in the Local Grill was delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed the weekend. Wish it could have been longer!

Weer had an awesome overnight stay here and it was wonderfully comfortable - the kids loved the place and the staff are very kind and helpful and always around to assist if need be - the setting and views are magnificent and the breakfasts were delish - must visit again soon!

My boyfriend and I spent 4nights here over my birthday and it was absolutely amazing. We enjoyed breathtaking views, a private infinity pool and stunning decor in the Coach House. The food at the grill house was exquisite, not to mention the super efficient and friendly staff. Miles is a superb host, he made sure we were taken care of from beginning to end. This is most certainly a piece of heaven on earth.

Once again all I can say it is home from home... everything you need is available, service is superb, breakfasts is scrumptious! It is such a friendly, welcoming atmosphere and makes you want to come back! The restaurants prices is a bit pricy but the food is to die for. Not really catering for kids however they opened a Pizza joint on the premises, walking distance from the hotel which makes the most delicious pizza and the venue's views are wonderful. Kids play area available.... and dogs welcome! Wonderful walking trails and mountain biking. Excellent, affordable wine for sale

The property all in all was good. Just a few things I feel need attention : The meal (lunch) we had was not the greatest Breakfast was a bit disappointing. There wasn't a wide variety, and I was very surprised there wasn't a selection of pastries—croissants, scones, muffins, etc. After checking in we had to walk through the "kitchen" to get to our rooms. The rooms downstairs (next to the kitchen) was very noisy in the morning. The pathway (past the swimming pool) to get to the rooms at night, was not very well lit and rather dangerous! The rooms would need a revamp - replace the carpets. The roads getting to property should be tarred - a little dangerous travelling at night, especially since they are not well lit

This was a return visit after a long time. There was no longer a SPA on the property, even though the signs still indicated there was. The WiFi wasn’t working and so we had to change rooms and call for things for the new room. You could hear the neighboring room TV very loudly. It was a special price, but still expensive. Good breakfast and nice restaurants on the property.

The property is not on the standard for the price that it is charging. The toilet window was held in place by some toiletpaper stuck into the groove. The restaurant did not have certain items in stock for both Dinnner as well as Breakfast. The manager did come to apologise during Breakfast. A beautiful setting let down by sub standard service and offering.

Service was great. Certainly, improved since our stay in the Couch House in 2022. I guess it really does come down to the staff and management. Perhaps the only request is for some form of room service especially some decent coffee
