Our stay was for 3 nights. On the second day we were back at the hotel just after 3.00pm. The room had not been serviced. The cleaners knocked on the door soon afterwards but obviously we didn't want to be disturbed. The next day, we arrived back before 3 and could see the cleaner was in our room so we sat in reception and waited for her to finish. We couldn't believe it when we went to the room - nothing had been done; hoovering, bedmaking, cleaning bathroom. The only thing done was topping up the coffee/milk. Even the dirty cups weren't replaced. We did moan to reception but they said the cleaner had indicated she thought someone was in the room!

Lovely hotel and staff, breakfast left a lot to be desired but dinner in the evening was very good. Reception staff were very helpful and location is fab if you want to visit the caves and have a walk around the local village

Friendly staff, nice room, beautiful quiet part of the country to stay. If you fancy some adventure or cave exploring you cant go far wrong. Great cheese as well

Clean room, friendly staff. Restaurant didn’t have full menu availability but I assume that’s down to being out of season - would look to return in the summer.

Dreadful experience. Virtually no public transport and when there was it was never on time. Taxi companies fully aware of this and take full advantage tariff wise to ridiculous levels. Eg 12 mile fare costing £60.

We love the hotel but the room this time was very dirty, bed uncomfortable flat pillows and damp smell in barhroom curtains were not great condtion looked old and need updating
We stay a few times a year and this is first time wasnt happy with room the rest of hotel and staff always pleasure

This hotel is basic but clean and functional for our one night requirment. We had a meal on arrival and oh my days they were massive and lush. A bargain to. Breakfast in the morning was perfect.. the front of house and evening waitress were amazing and fun. And the guys at breakfast we just as amazing. A witches special..
