The hotel is conveniently located to walking the downtown area. It beautifully landscaped and attractive facility. I loved the pool, hot tub and workout room. But the best, is the well intentioned breakfast complete with Starbucks coffee in a light filled well decorated and large dining space, complete with fireplace. Lovely

First and foremost, the people are so very friendly! Great service all around. The location is great. Overall the property is clean. There is a decent continental breakfast, good coffee and a clean dining area.
On the other hand, there is ZERO comfort. The pillows and beds feel like cardboard. It’s virtually impossible to get comfortable. I am leaving with terrible neck and back pain after 4 nights in the terrible bed. The bathrooms are very small, outdated and inconvenient. There is nowhere to put your cosmetics or hygiene items. The towels are like sandpaper. They badly need to update linens, bedding and pillows.
I probably wouldn’t stay again just because of the level of discomfort.

Basic room but very clean and helpful staff. Hotel has nice pool, whirlpool, and sauna but did not use on our trip. Breakfast was simple but very good.

This property was close to everything and you can walk to any restaurant or shops you like.
There was a lot of young families staying there so using the pool would have been difficult. Children were running around the pool and jumping in. I was disappointed by that because the pool was monopolized by the children.

I have stayed here a lot, but this time the room was a dirty, toilet had stains, an old large used soap bar left in the shower, bed had several hairs in it. Hopefully it was an only a one time thing.

Wellsboro is one of my favorite places in Pennsylvania and my stay at Penns Well Lodge was the Cherry on top. Thanks so much for the comfortable and cozy stay!

The lodge is a somewhat dated motel-like place; my room access was directly from the parking lot. Carpeting was tired, plaster walls in the bath had cracks and holes, and shower mixer valve made it easy to be frozen or scalded. Breakfast was adequate, and it was convenient to the shops in town.

Two night getaway in wellsboro was relaxing. The lodge check in was effortless. Room was cozy with fireplace. The furniture was not comfy though. Nice refrigerator and microwave. Bed was clean and super comfy. Bathroom needs a new shower curtain and fan vent was filthy. I would recommend the accommodations. Breakfast was free and a nice setup.
