The Beach House Boutique Hotel

Staying at The Beach House was the best!!! The staff were amazing, they helped facilitate tours and ensured we had a great time on our beach days with cocktails, snorkels and floats. The hotel facilitated our transportation to/from the airport, arranged a fantastic island tour (wildlife park, brewery, mangroves and garífuna restaurant) with Jay and snorkel tours with JC Adventure Tours. The snorkeling was fantastic and JC was so good we went out with him again the next day for a night snorkel. Highly recommend The Beach House. My best friend and stayed for a week, we loved that it was right in the middle of town and convenient to get to restaurants or walk the beaches toward West Bay. We were there before my birthday and the hotel had prepared welcome snacks and beverages from my family to celebrate. Can’t wait to go back!

We recently stayed at The Beach House and loved it. The location and service were both excellent. Everyone was friendly and helpful; we appreciated the help with activities and transportation. There’s snorkeling from the beach right in front of the hotel; we saw a sting ray, lobsters, squid, and fish of all kinds. The sea fans are beautiful when the sun is shining on them. There are several excellent restaurants a short walk away, making everything about the trip easy.

I can’t say enough good about this place. The location was fantastic for diving. The views of the sunset every night were amazing. Staff were over the top accommodating and kind. The room was super clean and well maintained. We cannot wait to return again!

The Beach House Boutique Hotel is a well-run, guest-friendly establishment. Both the manager and the general manager also worked as front-desk receptionists, ensuring that management keeps a close eye on everything happening at the hotel. Upon arrival, the manager checked us in and took us to our room to show us how everything worked. The general manager checked us out. We saw either one or both of them every day and made small talk with them. Both were very helpful and courteous. My wife and I stayed there for ten days in early May and enjoyed every moment. Our positive impression of this hotel began long before our arrival. I contacted two small hotels in Roatan to inquire about their restaurants because I have celiac disease and need a gluten-free diet. The Beach House responded within a day, while I never heard back from the other hotel. The Beach House has 14 rooms, which they justifiably call suites. Our room was spacious, clean, and furnished for comfort and convenience. The air conditioner was quiet and worked perfectly. All the rooms are beachfront, and the beach is three steps down from the porch of the hotel. Snorkeling was wonderful at a reef within the bay, about one hundred yards from the hotel, and the water was calm every day we were there. We saw all kinds of marine life. We ate all our meals at the hotel restaurant during our stay and were never tempted to eat elsewhere. The restaurant overlooks the picturesque Half Moon Bay. The attached sunset picture was taken from our table during dinner. Nelson and Britney greeted us almost every morning for breakfast, and Patrick, Noel, and Andromeda rotated serving us lunch and dinner. We got to know all of them well, and they made us feel at home with their attentive and courteous service. Gustavo, the chef, and his staff listened to our needs and served us excellent meals every time. Every dish was cooked to order with fresh ingredients. Noel and Andromeda custom-made drinks for us, delivering exactly what we wanted each time. This was the first time we stayed at a small boutique hotel, and we will be back. Oh, one more observation, the cruise ship passengers did not come to Half Moon Bay which we knew before choosing the Beach House.

Our stay at the beach house was wonderful! Rooms were clean and spacious, beds were very comfy, A/C worked well and the hot water for showers was abundant! Service was top notch, from recommendations, to help booking dinner reservations, there was always someone there to happily assist. The on site restaurant and bar had delicious drinks and food. Not to mention the location can NOT be beat. We woke up each morning to a beautiful view and even saw some rays swimming in the bay! And the sunsets are 15/10! Highly recommend staying at The Beach House if you’re ever in Roatan.

I wait until the end, but I’d be remiss if I didn’t applaud this spot as I sit here. I’m a picky New Yorker who has traveled to many places. The service I have received here is unmatched. The room is very nice and clean. The water is warm and calm. Recommend 1000%

We just returned from a week of diving and we LOVED The Beach House Hotel so much. It was our first time staying there and we found it to be the perfect vibe for how we like to enjoy Roatan. It is a boutique hotel with three floors. They have a nice restaurant we enjoyed breakfast, cocktails, and dinner. The rooms are well-appointed and very clean. Loved that you could just walk out the back right into the beach and beautiful water. Their staff is friendly and super responsive. The location is great and just a five-minute walk to Roatan Divers. We loved it so much, that we booked another trip at the end of December and we can't wait to come back.

A wonderful place to get away to in the winter time for us northerners. Tried it, without knowing anything, last winter, and we loved it so much we came back again, and have booked, again, for next winter. The location could not be better. Many great restaurants within walking distance. Walking distance to shopping and the water taxi to West Bay. ALL the staff are amazing. Attentive, friendly, always ready to help out with anything. The restaurant is excellent, overlooking the ocean. Roatan is a diver's paradise, and even though we don't dive, we still really enjoy it. Good snorkeling right off the shore, and even better if you take a boat out further. Tours of the island are excellent. Thank you to ALL the Beach House staff for a wonderful holiday. Can't wait to come back again!!!

My friend and I stayed here for a week while diving in West End. Our experience was perfect. Upon entering our room for the first time, we were totally blown away. The rooms are gorgeous, decorated with beachy boho minimalism, comfortable bed and pillows, nice showers/bathrooms, and steps away from your sunset swim on the beach. We stayed in room 2 and room 12 and if you have a choice, our preference would definitely be for the third floor rooms instead of the ground floor rooms. Upstairs is more private and has private outdoor space. Room 12 was also huge with a king-size bed. Eat upstairs at Mila del Mar - we did, every day, because the drinks, food, view, and service were unmatched.
