Low class service, subpar amenities. They serve only coffee or juice for breakfast. No extra pillows or eveb complimentary stuffs available. There's a lot of noise going on. Well you actually get what you pay for.

We booked this hotel mainly bc of the availability of a recliner for me to sleep in due to life-long back injuries, the reasonable price and close proximity to the University of IA hospital, where I am being treated for cancer. The room was clean and comfortable, front desk staff were very friendly and gladly brought us an extra blanket when we asked (we usually bring our own). This location also offers a continental breakfast. The only draw back was that we could hear every noise in the hall and there appears to be some long-term guests there, whom were making all of the noise. Also, there's quite a gap under the door and no weather *****ping around it, which allowed for cigarette smoke to seep into our room from someone smoking out in the hall.

The staff was very nice. The place needs a little renovation. The paint on our ceiling was coming off. The bathtub was stained.

Door locks weak at best. Uneven floors in rooms. No elevator at all. Key card system faulty and constantly have to have key card recharged. Front desk guy never in a hurry to help customer. So you wait till he is done with what he is doing on his phone or etc. Shower little better than a trickle.

The room was filthy. Wouldn't even take a shower because there was dirt in the tub. Reported it to the front desk, was told it would be taken care of. No one showed up!!! Would like a refund

Staff was outstanding. The keycard equipment was not working and they couldn’t make keys for anyone, so they had staff at the ready to let everyone into their rooms at all hours. They were so apologetic, but there was nothing they could do about it, they did a great job solving the problem!

Our sink didn’t drain. The tub was dirty, discolored and old. There was obvious and poorly repaired water damage on our ceiling. No kleenex. Key card machine didn’t work so we had no room keys for 24 hours
