Wingate by Wyndham West Monroe

Was not impressed by the breakfast … had to repeatedly ask for pillows and blankets and towels. Wasn’t impressed!

My husband and I had a good stay. The room was clean the beds where okay.. It was just for one night.

The one bright spot of our stay was the night manager. She was friendly, professional, and did everything she could to help despite issues that were clearly beyond her control. This was our first visit to Monroe, and we chose this hotel because of the Wyndham name, expecting a higher-quality experience. Unfortunately, that was not the case. While checking in, there were several guests at the front desk complaining about their rooms. One guest had been without hot water since the previous day and had been told maintenance would address it, but no one ever came. Another guest complained that their room was dirty and lacked basic necessities like towels and toilet paper. A third guest was requesting a room change because of a strong odor in the room. The night manager handled each situation professionally, but there was only so much she could do. Unfortunately, our room had issues as well. The hot water was barely lukewarm, there was no toilet paper in the room, and the room had a strong musty, mildew-like smell. Thankfully, I had air freshener with me. The beds were also not very comfortable. Overall, we were very disappointed. The hotel appears to be in need of significant maintenance and updating, and based on the number of complaints we witnessed, our experience was not an isolated incident. The night manager deserves recognition for her efforts, but the property itself did not live up to the Wyndham name. Thankfully, we only stayed one night and left early the next

Awful stay, the carpet in the room was wet, the bathroom floor was wet and slick! No bottled water, no soap. The coffee pot had an inch of dust on it. No light bulbs in over 1/2 of the lamps. The sheets were sticky from the humidity I assume from the wet carpeting and the mattress was lumpy. I slipped taking a shower in the slick bathtub and bruised my arm. If I had not been alone I would have left at 3am after tossing and turning half the night. Ugh!

Breakfast was good not well stocked due to person on duty being on phone and rolled her eyes at me when asked if she could refresh the replenished stock...date of checkout is 5-25,26.

The rooms are not throughly clean There was hair in the bathroom sink and the faucet in the bathroom was broken! The owner is penny pinching as well the prices continue to rise but the conditions are not improving that was my last stay at Wingate!

My stay was pretty good! I think the hotel could be elevated a little with a nice aroma in the lobby when you enter and a few more bath amenities like shower caps, and facial tissue. Overall, it was pleasant and the staff were very accommodating and friendly.

Breakfast was less than adequate. Room and building definitely needed a lot of work. Definitely over priced.

First room smelled so bad . They moved us, room was not clean or vacuum. They had crumbs everywhere. No toilet paper in room, no towels, breakfast was horrible. Worst part my room visited 600 they charged me 748 and 315. 1,100 For 2 Night stay .
