The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly, and the rooms are nice. Breakfast is served, it has a bar, but no restaurant. Terschelling has no luxury hotels in the city, but this hotel is well-located for both the ferry and city center activities. The city is interesting and historic, and the countryside is delightful. The island is small and can be traversed by bicycle, by hiking, or by hiring a taxi. Most roads and trails are fairly flat, and there are difficult trails. The village is missing the mark by not having guided island tours. We hired a taxi and told the driver to show us the island and provide commentary. He did quite well but was clearly not accustomed to doing so.

Hotel Oepkes voelt als thuiskomen. Geen moeite te veel. Vriendelijk, gastvrij, huiselijk, ontspannen. Een fijn terras om heerlijk neer te strijken na een dagje wandelen. Kamers met vernieuwde badkamers en airco. Fijn ontbijt. Je bent hier geen klant maar gast.

Het is altijd thuiskomen bij Hotel Oepkes, buitengewoon fantastisch. Mooie propere, comfortabele kamer. Dicht bij alles: strand, bos, duinen, winkels, bushalte, enz. Vriendelijke hulpvaardige eigenaars en personeel. Dankjewel dat we weer bij jullie mochten logeren. Misschien een klein minpuntje, we hebben het restaurant van het hotel wel een beetje gemist.

Fijn contact voor aankomst. In overleg kan de hond mee en ligt er zelfs een heerlijk kleedje klaar! Bij binnenkomst een welkomst bittertje. Geen panisch gedoe over hoelaat l je de kamer op of af moet. Vriendelijk personeel en een príma verzorgd ontbijt. Heerlijk genoten. Én een heerlijke douche!

Zeer gastvrije ontvangst en sowieso heel vriendelijke behandeling door al het personeel tijdens ons verblijf. Al met al een prima ervaring. Het enige wat wij beetje jammer vonden is dat er geen koffie/thee op de kamer gezet kon worden en dat de douchekop niet verstelbaar was.

Voor het eerst bij Oepkes na vaak andere lokaties in West-Terschelling. De ligging is perfect vlakbij de haven en het centrum om de hoek. Men is erg vriendelijk en attent. Dat voelt goed. De kamer is wat gedateerd maar keurig en schoon. Helaas wel vloerbedekking wat wij niet fijn vinden. Ontbijt is heel uitgebreid buffet en echt goed, veel keuze en voor ieder wat wils. Zoet, gezond en hartig. Een kleine update van de kamers zou wenselijk zijn (opfrissen, behang vernieuwen, laminaat oid) maar prijs voor gebodene is prima. Kortom: tevreden!

De mensen zijn aardig die daar werken. Vlotte bediening. Super nette kamers. En goede prijs. Een aanrader voor iedereen. Vlak bij de haven. Dus niet ver lopen. 20 stappen sta je in de winkel straat. Met gezellig terrasjes .

Deze uitstekend altijd erg vriendelijke Met een persoonlijke benadering . Kamer waar wij zaten was ook erg. Plaats van het Hotel in de buurt van restaurants. Kort in de buurt van fietsen verhuur. Vanaf de boot kort bij op loop afstand.
