Firstly, this has surprised me as I've never had to put in a bad experience for Premier Inn, but this recent stay ruined a family break The hotel part was excellent, the staff, the check-in, the 3 rooms, 217, 219 and 220 were great, all overlooking the sea front. We booked meal deals and this is where the issues started. No staff in the restaurant, there seemed to be an issue as staff had left, staff working their notice and in the end were only servicing those that had reservations, no walk in places, breakfast or dinner Breakfast and evening meals, no bar staff so a long wait to try and get a drink from the bar, people were just going out to a local bar in the end No cup's for a hot drink in the morning, no bread, long wait for plates to put food on, hot food took a long time to come out and then went quickly as people were waiting in a queue for it to be stocked up, some hot food ran out on Monday as they wouldn't have enough food for Tuesday. The staff tried, don't get me wrong, but were totally let down by higher management our meal deal was cancelled on the Sunday night as there was no staff after 5pm, so had to eat out, no refund as yet, but great meal at Smyths Hotel on the sea front.
