Very poor professionalism. We had booked a room for the Saturday 25 February 2022 performance of "Swan Lake" at Wexford Opera House. We were informed by the opera house at midday that the Saturday evening performance was cancelled as it was the Ballets Russes performing. Therefore, we wanted to cancel the booking, but were refused because it was less than 48 hours. We can understand that. On the other hand, not being responsible for the situation, we were not offered a partial refund or even a voucher valid for a few months so that we could keep our reservation for another show in the future, which would certainly happen. It is as if all the rooms were occupied, which is not at all the case, there were many unoccupied. Moreover the tone of the email refusing the refund was rather dry considering the 125€ we lost, it seems that only our money interests them. We had to cancel everything, including the restaurant which was really professional and understood our situation and accepted the cancellation. We find their professionalism really small and petty, the customer is just a cash cow but not considered at all. One thing is for sure, we will blacklist this hotel and we do not recommend staying there. Beatrice and Dominique
