Mango Motel

Stayed here on a whim while traversing some of the east coast with friends on my way to Atlantic City. Cue The Band. I digress. Fantastic place and fantastic family who owned it. I’m booked the wrong day and showed up without a reservation in hand. They quickly fixed it for me and welcomed me in. They also made sure the other one was cancelled and was refunded. This was above and beyond given it was my mistake and booked through a third party. Great people and a great place

Motel displays “newly renovated” however very dated. Tiny TV on wall (which I needed to wear my distance glasses to watch the off-formatted screen, our room door was off with a 2-inch crack visual from top of door frame, bathroom floor very dirty, bed stains on ONE of the two double beds in our room and no USB Ports or multi outlets in the room. Overall somewhat okay to bunk there - if you don’t mind roughing it out and wearing bedroom slippers during your stay.

I've never written a negative review about a motel, but had no choice. I booked a standard room with a king size bed. What I got was a closet with a bed stuffed in. There was no room for a dresser, desk, or even a luggage stand. Two people could not squeeze between the bed and any of the 3 walls at the same time. Had to keep my luggage in the car. When you looked out the door, the only view was the ice machine. I asked for another room but the manager told me they were fully booked. He also would not refund any of my money. I was only offered a coupon for another visit. I would never return. In addition, the parking was across the street and down a block, not onsite.

The kitchen table , chairs and dresser drawer were falling apart. Stove burner trays dirty. Old dinner plates with knife marks on plates. 2 glasses provided. Mattress very uncomfortable. Pool area clean.

This place is not the greatest very small rooms. When turning the shower on it smelled like the sewage. Also my friend accidentally broke 1 of the light fixture and they charged her 150.00 for 1 little glass piece. Don't go there they are money hungry and the manager dares to say to us after charging 150.00 I'll give you a discount next time. Never again!!

I stayed here with my daughter and would never stay again. Room was dirty, holes in the bedding and in need of a complete makeover. Plus the fact it was way overpriced. The manager was not there much of the time. Maid was there only on the weekend which meant you had to get your own towels if you wanted clean ones. Cracks and holes in places. The only good thing was the location. Other than that I'm sure there were many better places to stay. It got three stars from Tripadvisor. How about one star. Don't believe it.
