Motel 6 Willoughby, Oh - Cleveland

I reserved a non smoking room two months in advance and called to confirm several days before my arrival. Unfortunately, by the time I checked in I was told that the only room left was a smoking room. I am very sensitive to the small of cigarettes but had no other choice but to spend the night with a towel wrapped around my face to try to block out the nasty stench in the room. By morning all my clothes and belongings stunk like cigarettes. I got out of there as soon as I could. By the way, the towels are small and thin, the sink was cracked and the room was very small and overpriced. Do not stay here unless you have no other options.

The room was very disgusting. It wasn’t clean, and then I told them about the room being dirty. After I cleaned it they transferred me to another room that was a little bit cleaner and only gave me a little bit of money back for the price.

Just stayed here for the night when visiting. The hotel was clean for the most part. The room was a bit dated but nothing terrible just the usual wear and tear. I was on the third floor so it took the water a while to get warm. Convenient location, right off the interstate and near gas and food options.

The hotel was suitable, i chose it because they have smoking rooms. The showers /bathrooms could use a deep clean. Bed was ok. Everything was fine for price and purpose.

Reception was quick and didn't provide the WiFi information. Warm water in bath not working,asked 3 times to check. Bathroom not clean for curtains and floor.

I like Motel six because the rooms “feel“ very sanitary.This is largely because there are neither carpeted areas nor fluffy furniture in the rooms where insects and microbes tend to hide.

Quick stay, we were in and out in less than eight hours, but we were very happy with it. Hallways and elevator were a little dingy but our room was spotless and beautiful. Convenient check-in & check-out. Nothing fancy but did what we needed - would stay again if in the area.

Overall experience was good. Thought house keeping fixes the bed, but I fixed it when I left. It was good.

The place needs to be retired, torn down or abandoned, pick one. It’s very old and run down. Staff were friendly and helpful. We came back to the room to find a puddle on the floor. The ceiling was leaking from the rain. Windows leak, had mould. I would not go back. Great price but I would find something in better condition.
